Jerry Lawler - Not Guilty

It took all of about forty-five-minutes for a judge in Tunica County (Mississippi) to clear Jerry Lawler of all charges, stemming from Sal Corrente's charge of assault at a recent indy show.

I don't remember the original incident took place, nor do I care, but it was pretty clear (even if things actually happened the way Corrente said they did) the case wouldn't get very far.

Judge Ellis Darby witnessed a video of the incident, heard testimony from Lawler and Corrente, then cleared Lawler of all charges. Corrente asked for a continuance, so he could subpoena witnesses, but the judge denied the request.

After the decision, an elated Lawler claimed Corrente was looking for money. Corrente refused comment.
