JJ Dillon Recovering From Knee Surgery

JJ Dillon had a total left knee replacement on October 17th. He saw an orthopedic specialist about a year ago and was told that he had probably been a candidate for the surgery five years ago. During the last six months, he has had increasing discomfort and the condition was causing him to walk bow-legged. He is in the hospital until Sunday, October 21, and off work for 5-6 weeks if all goes well.

He started physical therapy yesterday and they worked him hard today. When the surgeon uncovered the incision to rebandage today, everything looked good.

His daughter, Pam, will be with him through the weekend and his sister will be taking care of him for a few weeks after that.
