1969: Assassin #2 & the Professional defeated Alberto & Ramon Torres to win the Georgia Tag Team Title at the WQXI Studios in Atlanta for Georgia Championship Wrestling promoter Paul Jones. This was taped for the “Atlanta TV Wrestling” television program hosted by Ed Capral. Jack Crawford, who managed Dale Lewis, told Capral that both El Mongol and the Pro were scared of Lewis, who had issued a challenge against the winner of their match in an effort to secure the top contender position for Gene Kiniski’s NWA World Heavyweight Title. He also claimed that he believed one of the Assassins to be Bobby Graham. In a response to the NWA investigation into his tactics against Mongol from their match on January 24, 1969, the Pro told Capral that he had never used a foreign object during his career, and that the only reason he knocked Mongol cold with his head butt was that he had an unusually hard head. He also countered that Leo Garibaldi, referee for the match, had allowed Mongol to use illegal karate chops on him during the match, claiming Garibaldi was biased and partial toward Mongol.

Scott Irwin and Jerry Stubbs went to a draw in the opener.

The semi-main event on the bill was a no holds barred match featuring Bob Armstrong & Pak Song versus Rock Hunter & Abdullah the Butcher.

1983: Ric Flair defeated Butch Reed by disqualification to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Title at the Charleston (WV) Civic Center for Georgia Championship Wrestling promoter Les Thatcher.
