State Amateur Fighters To Compete For Chance At Stardom During King Of The Cage's All Wisconsin Fight Quest On March 15 At Lake Of The Torches Resort Casino

Aspiring amateur fighters from across Wisconsin are invited to compete in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win a professional contract with King of the Cage, during the All Wisconsin Fight Quest to be held on March 15 at the Lake of the Torches Resort and Casino.

Lac du Flambeau, Wis (January 24, 2008) -- Aspiring amateur fighters from across Wisconsin are invited to compete in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win a professional contract with King of the Cage, during the All Wisconsin Fight Quest to be held on March 15 at the Lake of the Torches Resort and Casino.

The event will consist of amateur fighters competing for the top prize of $5,000 and a professional contract with King of the Cage, a world-wide mixed martial arts organization that hosts events across the globe. KOTC's pay-per-view and DVD sales are sold worldwide in the millions and KOTC has hosted events in Singapore, Australia and the United Kingdom.

"This is an incredible opportunity for aspiring athletes wanting a shot at competing on the world-wide stage," said Michael J. Broderick, Director of Marketing at Lake of the Torches Resort and Casino. "This will be a dream come true for one athlete who has the no-holds barred determination to make it to the top."

In order to compete at the event, athletes must be Wisconsin residents and be in the Heavy Weight class of 200 pounds or more. Professional athletes or MMA fighters who have any pro fights will not be allowed to participate in the All Wisconsin Fight Quest.

The All Wisconsin Fight Quest will consist of 16 fighters and 4 alternates competing in a winner-take-all competition held in the Lake of the Torches' convention center. KOTC events combine the skills of boxing, wrestling, kickboxing and jujitsu.

Terry Trebilcock, President of King of the Cage stated, "there is a plethora of untapped, raw talent in Wisconsin and we should have no problem finding another superstar. This tournament is an exceptional opportunity for cage fighters and Wisconsin is definitely the best state to launch such an event. MMA star Adrian Serrano from Milwaukee is just one discovery from Wisconsin that has 80 plus professional cage fights."

The roster is filling up fast so any fighters interesting in participating in the All Wisconsin Fight Quest can contact Broderick directly by calling1-800-25-TORCH, ext. 4008, or by e-mail at mbroderick @ ldfcasino.com.
