Tiger Schulmann's Mixed Martial Arts CHILDSAFE(SM) Free Abduction Prevention Seminar

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J., Jan. 2 -- On January 18th, 2008, Tiger Schulmann's Mixed Martial Arts will be conducting FREE Abduction Prevention Seminars for children. The seminar focuses on teaching children basic abduction prevention skills through a combination of real-life situation skits and through lectures about avoidance of strangers, code words, and escape techniques.

Instruction will also be provided regarding what to and not to do while home alone (especially for "latch-key" children). Parents will also be coached on the importance of educating their children on how to identify and react to potentially dangerous situations.

"With the increasing concern about child abduction attempts, it's important to do all we can do to teach children basic abduction prevention principles," said Shihan "Tiger" Schulmann. He continued: "Our seminars are designed to prevent dangerous situations before they start and even how to respond if abduction has taken place by emphasizing confidence and open discussion on the subject. No child should have to be vulnerable to the fear and trauma associated with such a possibility. Our abduction prevention seminars are specifically designed to empower children with the
skills they need to be safe."

This FREE Abduction Prevention Seminar is part of Tiger Schulmann's Mixed Martial Arts' CHILDSAFE(SM) Program, established in 1992 to teach child-safety awareness and to encourage communication between parents and children regarding vital issues.
