This week, a pair of ferocious female fights is featured as Bodog Fight opens The Vault for more thrilling mixed martial arts action.

Tuesday, March 4, visit bodoglife.net/fight, to watch a never-before-seen women’s bout between newcomers Kaitlin Young (1-0) and Suzi Smith.

This fight took place last November in the opening round of a Bodog-sponsored HOOKnSHOOT women’s tournament at the Evansville Coliseum in Indiana.

Little was known about Smith, who was making her pro debut, while Young entered having issued a hellacious beating to her first and only pro opponent, Lindsey Frandrup.

Fighting out of the Minnesota Martial Arts Academy, Young had trained with some of the top fighters in the game, such as Sean Sherk, Kelly Kobold and current Bodog Fight Welterweight Champion Nick “The Goat” Thompson.

Did her training pay off against the unknown Smith?

“She was super aggressive,” recalls Young. “I think I was a little too relaxed starting out in that fight. I didn‘t feel worked up or anything, and she came like a bat out of hell across the ring at me.”

Without giving anything away, it wasn’t long before referee Sean Brockmole needed to clean a pool of blood off the mat.

Which fighter wound up leaking plasma?

The answer lies within The Vault.

Saturday, March 8, don’t miss a second all-new episode of Bodog Fight: The Vault featuring another exciting women's match from the aforementioned HOOKnSHOOT tournament in Indiana.

This bout, featuring Oklahoma’s Nicdali Calanic (3-0) and newcomer Jennifer “The Dilemma” Babcock of Missouri, is unique in that both are close friends who took the fight on short notice.

This one may have been all smiles before the bell, but it didn't take long for things to heat up.

Does Calanic solve “The Dilemma”?

Open The Vault to find out.

Bodog Fight: The Vault offers streaming video of all-new, never-before-seen fights each Tuesday and Saturday, commercial free. Each webisode is fully downloadable and iPod-ready, featuring a previously unaired bout from the Bodog Fight archives.
