ATLANTIC CITY— BCX IV the forth installment of the Battle Cage Xtreme series which has come to mean the best in mixed martial arts action promises to the be their best one yet. “Battle Cage Xtreme IV” in Atlantic City, Saturday, April 19th, at the Tropicana Casino and Resort, presented by Team Sports and Entertainment LLC, boasts an action packed fight card that currently has 19 big fights including 5 title bouts.

The main event topping off this card is the USKBA / BCX Heavyweight Title bout between Carlton “Don’t Blink” Haselrig and MMA Veteran Shane Ott. Carlton is a MMA heavyweight fighter, former heavyweight wrestler for NCAA Division II University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, and former NFL Pro Bowl Offensive Lineman for both the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets. He holds the distinction of being the only person to win 6 NCAA titles in wrestling, winning 3 times in Division II and 3 times in NCAA Division I. Carlton will showcase his talents against the tough Super Heavyweight Champion Shane Ott. Ott took his first IFL bout on 24 hours notice and quickly dispatched highly-regarded Chad Griggs in the first round in last April in Connecticut.

Equally as exciting are the 4 other title fights. Kevin Roddy will be defending the USKBA Lightweight title he earned at BCX II as Tim Troxell confident after 2 big wins against Blair Tugman and Vasilica Goian tries to take it away.

Steve D'Angelis took the BCX Featherweight title away from Matt Zaccaria at BCX II. Now Blair Tugman wants it and after winning against Jason Frawley by tapout submission rear naked choke at BCX III he thinks he can take it.

BCX II USKBA Welterweight title holder Tom Gallicchio will be defending his belt against Nick Calandrino who fought Mike Medrano and won after a hard fought battle on the BCX III card in October 07. Gallichio feels ready for the challenge after a recent win by unanimous decision over Igor Gracie.

Undefeated Lester Caslow will be returning to the BCX cage after his BCX III win against Ryan McCarthy. This time he will face undefeated Pat Audinwood. Only one of these fighters will leave the cage undefeated.

HDNet's Inside MMA will be present to film the event for airing at a later date as well as Streaming Martial Arts to be streamed pay-per-view via the internet.

You will not want to miss this event!
