After a busy weekend Florida Championship Wrestling returned to Bourbon Street Night Club, 4331 US 19N in New Port Richey, for its Tuesday March 4, 2008 event.

(1) Gabe Tuft defeated "South City Thriller" Hade Vansen.

Tuft and Vansen have faced off the last several weeks in tag matches but tonight it was singles action and Tuft went on the attack with a side headlock. But Vansen backed him to a corner and laid in some chops but missed a corner splash. He ended up in the side headlock on the mat with Tuft firmly in control. Vansen got to his feet and went to a corner where Tuft broke clean but when he went back in, Vansen hit a Hot Shot. Vansen took Tuft down to the mat in a armlock submission but broke it when he couldn’t get the tap out. Vansen kept the pressure on with a kick to the mid-section and a rear naked choke. Vansen let the choke go into a body scissor submission with help from the bottom rope. Tuft fought off defeat and got to the ropes causing the break. Vansen let Tuft get to his feet and that was a mistake as Tuft hit a fisherman suplex to get the victory.

(2) In a mixed tag match, Kevin Kiley & Nattie Neidhart defeated "Carnival Freak" Sinn Bowdee & Victoria.

Kiley and Bowdee started the match with the Diva’s watching from their corners before they tagged in to renew their rivalry. Neidhart took over with an armbar that she refused to let go until Crawford crawled to her corner and she tagged in Bowdee. He came in and insulted Neidhart who refused to tag out. Something to do with her going to a kitchen and doing dishes. So Neidhart hit raked his eyes and went to the ropes but as the referee checked on Bowdee, Crawford pulled Neidhart’s hair sending her to the mat. With help from Bowdee, Crawford took over on Neidhart locking in a neckvise submission. Neidhart escaped but when she went to the ropes Crawford pulled her down by the hair. Bowdee tagged in and Neidhart backed to a corner. Bowdee went to stop her from escaping but got leveraged into the turnbuckles. Neidhart tagged in Kiley as she fought on the floor with Crawford. Bowdee was fighting off a sunset flip when Neidhart came in and hit him with a clothesline ending Bowdee’s evening. After the match Crawford insulted Bowdee for losing the match but Bowdee growled which sent her running to the locker room.

(3) The 7ft Giant Titan (w/ "Rough House" Ralph Mosca) defeated "Rascal" Tommy Taylor.

Before the match Mosca bragged about Titan’s double victory this past weekend in battle royals. He didn’t care who FCW sent out to face Titan and he got Taylor and his scooter. Taylor tried to avoid contact with Titan but he got scooped up in a bodyslam. Taylor went to the floor for safety but Titan went out and tossed him back in. The carnage continued until Titan hit a guillotine style legdrop for the win. Mosca felt his message hadn’t been fully delivered and he ordered Titan to hit Taylor with two power bombs. They only left after the threat of fines and suspensions.

The FCW Southern Heavyweight champion "Handsome" Heath Miller came to the ring for his "Happy Hour." He was accompanied to the ring by his partner "Sterling" Steve Lewington. The guest tonight was FCW Florida Heavyweight champion Jake Hager. But not before Lewington and Miller named themselves the best wrestlers in FCW. After claiming he had an epiphany, Lewington renamed himself "Sterling" Jack Gabriel. Hager didn’t care for the trash Miller had been tossing around and insulted Miller’s championship belt. But before the rest of the verbal insults were let loose Big Rob made his way to the ring. He said during his stay he has yet to receive a championship match and didn’t care which man he faced in the ring. While Hager stood in a corner watching, Miller hid behind Gabriel talking trash. Hager decided he was tired of hearing Miller talk and he asked for a unification match. Miller said he would have his people talk to Hager’s people and have an answer by the end of the evening. Miller was ready to leave but apparently Gabriel wanted to test Big Rob out so he threw a punch but Rob caught it in his hand. Lewington stood in shock and Gabriel fought hard to get away before Rob did anything else.

(4) Sheamus & Kafu defeated Greg Jackson & Bryan Kelly.

Kelly tried to match Sheamus’ strength but he didn’t fair so well, until he kicked the Irishman in his hamstring. It slowed Sheamus down a bit and did real damage when he missed a running boot to the corner and his leg got caught on the top rope. Kelly went to work with a leglock and he tagged in Jackson to keep the pressure going. The duo kept Sheamus on his back for several minutes as he fought off defeat. Sheamus got some distance as the referee put Jackson out, Kafu came in and kicked Kelly in the face. Kafu tagged in and went to work on Kelly’s head and neck with the occasional tag from Sheamus. Jackson could only watch on as his partner was beat on for several minutes. Kelly fought off defeat and after blocking a Kafu suplex, he tagged in Jackson who went move for move with his opponents. Kafu went for a claw hold but Jackson countered it. Kelly went to the floor thinking Sheamus was going for his battle axe. But the referee saw him and insisted he return to the corner. As this went on Sheamus helped Kafu hit a double team move which led to their victory. After the match Kelly left his partner lying in the ring beaten.

(5) A special challenge match between Afa and Rycklon was declared a no contest.

Rycklon got to the ring and Afa immediately went on the attack but Rycklon fought back and Afa bailed to the floor. Rycklon followed him out and the punches began to fly. Fans held onto their beers as the action went over a bar and towards the locker room area. The referee had a very hard time getting the match back to the ring as Rycklon blocked a piledriver on the stage and he backdropped Afa. After both men refused to listen to the referee’s instruction the match was thrown out and it took several officials and wrestlers to break up the fight. The fighting came back out during the ring introduction of the next match and went out the side door to the parking lot.

(6) "The Stampede Kid" TJ Wilson defeated WWE Superstar Kenny Dykstra.

Before the match Dykstra said he said this was the filthiest venue and fans he had ever been in front of. He told the fans a Hart Family disciple’s career was going to be ended tonight. Wilson came out ready to fight and never gave Dykstra an inch. Wilson went on the attack with chest chops and a side headlock take over as Dykstra complained of hair pulling. Dykstra spent several minutes trying to get away from Wilson and the headlock. Dykstra finally got away when he hit Wilson with a back suplex and a corner whip that shook Wilson’s body. Dykstra hit another suplex and drove his knee into Wilson’s back getting two and locking in a rear chinlock. Wilson refused to submit and he fought to his feet only to be tripped up and sent back to the mat. Dykstra’s snap suplex was blocked into an inside cradle for two but he got to his feet and hit Wilson with a clothesline before locking in a back stretch. Wilson fought to his feet again but Dykstra reused to release the hold. So Wilson kicked him and followed with a series of kicks to the body and the head for two. Wilson ran into Dykstra’s elbow but Dykstra ran into Wilson’s superkick. Dykstra thought he had the match won with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker but got two, so he went up top but Wilson met him, but Dykstra fought him off and he hit a move for two. Dykstra went for a Last Ride like move but Wilson hooked his legs around Dykstra’s head and hit a huricurana to win the match. After the pinfall Dykstra complained to the referee his hair and tights were pulled and he had his leg and arm around the ropes. The referee didn’t listen and raised Wilson’s in victory.

(7) FCW Southern Heavyweight champion "Handsome" Heath Miller (w/ "Sterling" Jack Gabriel) defeated "Thoroughbred" Johnny Curtis.

This was rematch from an impromptu bout held Saturday afternoon won by Miller. FCW officials felt Curtis deserved another shot at Miller and the championship tonight. Curtis went hold for hold with Miller and it sent the champion over to Gabriel to confer. Miller came out with punches but he missed one and Curtis rolled him up for two before locking in a front facelock. Miller got to the ropes and Curtis gave a clean break as Miller complained of hair pulling. Miller got some control with an armbar on Curtis’ left arm but got knocked down by a right handed chop. Curtis went after Miller’s arm but was backed to a corner where Miller didn’t break clean. Curtis ended up on the ring apron where Miller cut his legs out, driving Curtis’ face into the exposed steel behind the turnbuckles. With some help from Gabriel, Miller got Curtis back in the ring and locked in a chinlock with a knee buried in his back. Curtis fought to his feet and he hit Miller with a leg lariat but he couldn’t follow up. Both men got to their feet where Curtis hit a Greco Roman throw that got Gabriel on the ring apron where he decked Curtis. This allowed Miller to roll up Curtis for the controversial win.

(8) "The Natural" Nic Nemeth & "Campus Legend" Brad Allen (w/ Taryn Terrell) defeated FCW Florida Tag Team champions The Puerto Rican Nightmares" (Eric Perez & Eddie Colon w/ Miss Angela) via DQ.

Before the match Nemeth told the fans to watch closely as his team was walking out with what should be rightfully theirs from the tournament last month. Perez & Colon disagreed and the match began with Allen’s arm in a Colon armbar. Nemeth tagged in but got hit with a hiptoss and Perez tagged in after kicking Nemeth in the arm. Nemeth went for a Thesz Press but Perez opted for a spinebuster and a tag to Colon. Perez came back in and got two with a vertical suplex. Allen and Terrell could only watch and shout encouragement. Allen tagged back in but got tagged with chest chops from Perez. But the champions momentum came to a crashing halt when Nemeth dropped Perez on the top rope and Allen followed with a running knee to the head which sent Perez to the floor. Terrell and Nemeth got in some cheap shots before sending Perez back in the ring where Allen was waiting with open arms. Nemeth and Allen made several tags wearing the larger opponent out but they couldn’t keep Perez down long enough for the pin or submission. With help from the fans, Colon and Angela shouted for Perez to keep fighting and fight he did nearly launching Nemeth into orbit with a press slam. Perez was able to tag in Colon just as Nemeth tagged in Allen and the fighting was on again. But Terrell tripped up Colon and it allowed Nemeth and Allen to hit a double team move. But Colon recovered and he hit Allen with a chest stabber. Colon went for the pin but Terrell got on the apron to occupy the referee. It worked as Colon left Allen and went to get the referee. But Terrell and Colon got a bit too close and their lips met just as Angela hit Allen with a top rope huricurana. The referee saw this and called for the bell. The two Diva’s fought in the ring and were broken up by their teams.
