UFC 85: LIDDELL vs. EVANS

Las Vegas, NV (USA) – UFC® icon Chuck ‘the Iceman’ Liddell will be in London, England next week for a whirlwind press tour ahead of his summer showdown with unbeaten light heavyweight “Sugar” Rashad Evans at the O2 Arena in London on June 7.

Over 8,000 tickets have already flown out of the O2 Arena box office in anticipation of the biggest fight to hit London since the Battle of Britain. Before heading back to his infamous “Pit” training camp in Arroyo Grande, California to begin hardcore training for UFC 85: LIDDELL v EVANS, Liddell will be in London on Tuesday, March 12 and Wednesday, March 13.

On Wednesday, March 12, Liddell will be on Virgin Radio with host and UFC fanatic Christian O’Connell at 7:45AM. Then the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion will appear live on Setanta News TV talking about his first fight outside the US since 2003.

On Thursday, you can tune into talkSPORT radio to catch the Iceman talking to H & J before – finally – British UFC fans get a rare chance to meet the feared striker in person. At 5:30pm on Thursday, March 13, at the Zavvi (formerly Virgin) Megastore at Piccadilly the public will get their chance to meet and greet Chuck as the Iceman will be at the store from signing UFC merchandise.
