Florida Championship Wrestling results from New Port Richey, FL, on May 6: Mike Kruell over Mr. Yamamoto; Greg Jackson won a battle royal to earn a shot at the FCW Heavyweight Title, eliminating Rycklon, Johnny Curtis, Andrew Vein, Kevin Kiley, Gabe Tuft, Kafu, Vic Adams, and Brandon Cruz, in that order; Matt Sydal over Sinn Bowdee; Big Rob over Shawn Spears by disqualification; Colt Cabana over Jay Bradley; Kevin Thorn & Atlas DaBone over Tyrone Jones & Afa; Jake Hager over Heath Miller to retain the FCW Heavyweight Title; and the Empire (Stu Sanders & Drew McIntyre) over the Puerto Rican Nightmares (Eric Perez & Eddie Colon) to win the FCW Tag Team Title. On May 3, Southern States Championship Wrestling presented their wrestling show in front of a crowd of 182 in Enigma, GA. Jelena retained the women's championship by defeating the Soviet. Logan Stevens defeated Bryan Fury. Ken "The Real Deal" Diesel defeated Mad Dog Miller. JT Taylor defeated "New Age Superstar" Brooks Rogers. In a SSCW Southern Heritage title match, Chris Turner retained the title be defeats "Modern Day Enforcer" Scotty Biggs by countout. Jarrod Michaels defeated the heavyweight title by DQ against the Impact Player. AWA World-1 South results from the Southern Clash, held at Crisp County Middle School in Cordele, GA, on May 3: T.J. Mack defeated Mister St. Laurent; K.I. Elite defeated the Hotshots; Tommy Rich and Chic Donovan defeated Doug Somers and Dennis Condrey; Kim Dakota defeated Mr. X; Steve Lawler defeated Q-Ball; The Bug with Ron Niemi defeated Insane Mike Pain to win the AWA Southern Heavyweight Title; T.J. Mack defeated Chasyn Rance to retain the AWA Light Heavyweight Title; and Larry Zbyszko defeated Ricky Landell to retain the AWA World Heavyweight Title. Reported attendance was 174. (Thomas Bugg)

On May 17, the Great American Wrestling Federation will be back at the Auto Zone in Blountsville, FL. Advertised: GAWF Heavyweight Champion Steve Goins, the Street Bandit, and Cameron Frost. (Brian Slack)

The Florida Pro Wrestling Association presents “Holding a Grudge” on May 17 at the Boys & Girls Club in Pinellas Park, FL. Advertised: A new champion will be named. A Florida State Title Match pits the champion Lou Cypher w/George Martel against XWE champion, Torcher. For the Tag team titles, the State Line w/George Martel takes on the Psychedelics. Nick Fame takes on "Superhero" Mark Zout. Also in action will be Bobby Wohlfert, Austin Amadeus, Aaron Epic, Flexx, Heater, Joey Cujo, and Valek. Southern States Championship Wrestling will be back at the Enigma Gym in Enigma, GA, on June 7 at 7:30pm. Advertised: The main event is for the SSCW Heavyweight Championship as the champion Jarrod Michaels defends the title against Impact Player in a No DQ/Falls count anywhere match. "Modern Day Enforcer" Scotty Biggs takes on "Rookie Sensation" Logan Stevens. In a submission challenge match, Ken "The Real Deal" Diesel takes on Johnny Flight. Also appearing on the show will be Melissa Coates and Lorelei Lee. All tickets are $2.
