Total Nonstop Action results from the Sacrifice PPV in Orlando, FL, on May 11: in the first round of the tournament to determine new TNA World Tag Team Champions, Christian Cage & Rhino over Robert Roode & Booker T, LAX over Matt Morgan & Kip James, and A.J. Styles & Super Eric over B.G. James & Awesome Kong; Kaz over Curry Man, Sonjay Dutt, Consequences Creed, Shark Boy, Jimmy Rave, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Johnny Devine, and Jay Lethal to win the Terrordome match to earn a future shot at the TNA X Division Title, and afterward was announced as a replacement for Kurt Angle in the main event, who had announced he was too injured to wrestle; in more tournament matches, Team 3-D over Cage & Rhino, and LAX over Styles & Eric; Gail Kim over Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, Rhaka Khan, Salinas, Christy Hemme, O.D.B., Roxxi Laveaux, Jacqueline, and Traci Brooks in a ladder match to earn a future shot at the TNA Women’s Title; in the final match of the tournament, LAX over 3-D to win the title; and Samoa Joe over Scott Steiner and Kaz in a three-way to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Title. For some reason it was being called the AWA World Heavyweight Title here, and the Bruiser was being billed as such.

MAY 12, 1964 (TUESDAY) – MACON, GA – MACON CITY AUDITORIUM (Fred Ward – Promoter / Georgia Championship Wrestling) > Billy Hines versus Red Steiner > Midget Women’s Match: Darling Dagmar versus Baby Cheryl > World Tag Team Title Match: Kurt & Karl Von Brauner* versus Joe Scarpa & Choo-Choo Lynn / Notes: No documented results for this card have been found. Saul Weingeroff managed Kurt & Karl Von Brauner. It is unclear as to how the Von Brauners came to be recognized as World Tag Team Champions. The last reference we have shows Chief Big Heart & Chief Little Eagle defending the title against Taro Myaki & Corsica Joe on December 13, 1963, in Atlanta.

MAY 12, 1967 (FRIDAY) – ATLANTA, GA – ATLANTA MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM [P] (Paul Jones – Promoter / Georgia Championship Wrestling) > Dennis Hall and Oki Shikina wrestled to a draw at 15:00 > Bobby Graham defeated Dale Jones at 3:00 > Ray Gunkel & Nick Kozak defeated Rip Hawk & Swede Hanson at 11:00 > Mr. Wrestling defeated the Masked Mr. Nils by disqualification > Leo Garibaldi and El Mongol wrestled to a draw at 10:00 > Jack Crawford defeated Leo Garibaldi at 3:00 > World Tag Team Title / Southern Tag Team Title Match: Enrique & Ramon Torres defeated Lars & Gene Anderson* to win titles / Notes: Dale Jones substituted for Ike Eakins in the match with Bobby Graham. Jack Crawford managed El Mongol. During the match between Mr. Wrestling and the Masked Mr. Nils, Lars Anderson donned a mask and tried to switch with Nils, but was disqualified when the referee caught them. Leo Garibaldi lasted the required time limit he had to meet in his match with El Mongol in order to face Jack Crawford. There were two referees for the match between Enrique & Ramon Torres and Lars & Gene Anderson. The Andersons had been the reigning Southern Tag Team Champions since they defeated the Torres’ on April 28, 1967, in Atlanta, and had been billed as World Tag Team Champions since April 28, 1967. In the program for this card, Paul Jones reported that he was attempting to sign a rematch between Lou Thesz and Gene Kiniski for the latter’s NWA World Heavyweight Title based on the match held in Atlanta on April 14, 1967, stating that Thesz had agreed to waive his purse if the match took place. Kiniski had been the reigning NWA World Heavyweight Champion since he defeated Thesz on January 7, 1966, in St. Louis, MO. It was announced that Jack Daniels would be wrestling on the card on May 19, 1967.

MAY 12, 1970 (TUESDAY) – MACON, GA – MACON CITY AUDITORIUM (Fred Ward – Promoter / Georgia Championship Wrestling) > Tim Geohagen and Chati Yokuchi wrestled to a draw > Professor Kimura defeated Cousin Alfred > Alberto & Ramon Torres defeated the Assassins > Joe Scarpa & Doug Gilbert defeated Homer O’Dell & Buddy Colt / Notes: Homer O’Dell managed Buddy Colt & Professor Kimura.

The Fabulous Moolah had been billed as Women’s World Champion since she defeated Judy Grable on September 18, 1956, in Baltimore, MD. The Assassins had been billed as Georgia Tag Team Champions since March 18, 1972, after Paul Jones announced they should have been declared the winners in their match against then champions Ray Gunkel & Buddy Fuller on March 10, 1972. Assassin #1 managed Bepo Mongol. Roberto Soto participated in an autograph session for fans.

MAY 12, 1973 (SATURDAY) – “ALL-SOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING” (Ann Gunkel – Promoter / All-South Wrestling Alliance) > Tommy Seigler & El Mongol defeated Bill Bowman & Joe Turner by disqualification > Bob Ellis & Ron Pritchard versus Rock Hunter & Assassin #2 / Notes: Bob Ellis & Ron Pritchard and Rock Hunter & Assassin #2 were scheduled to wrestle each other, but no results were reported after the card. Hunter managed Assassin #2. Mr. X managed Bill Bowman and Joe Turner.
