We received word from Bobby Simmons, who conducted the memorial service yesterday for Susan ‘Pebbles’ Adams, who died last week. Adams was once a valet and wife of Chick Donovan. She leaves behind a fiancé and son, whose father is Donovan. According to Simmons, “The service went well and we were well represented by Gene Bennett, Bill Dromo, Debi Simmons, Charlie Smith, Juanita Timbs, Brian Green, and Buck Timbs. Joyce Grable and her sister sang beautifully at the service. Thanks be to God she left a testimony of her faith and I believe she is at home with The Master.” He then added, “Please remember her fiancé, David, and her son as they have a rough road to travel in the days ahead. Life is fragile, handle it with prayer.” (Rich Tate)
