WHAT:
Carano, Young and Shaw will participate in a conference call to discuss the first primetime Network broadcast of “CBS ELITEXC SATURDAY NIGHT FIGHTS” on Saturday, May 31 (9-11 p.m. ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. CBS’s inaugural MMA event will emanate from the Prudential Center in Newark , N.J.

Carano will face the confident, hard-hitting Young in a women’s bout of CBS’s five-fight lineup. In the main event, Kimbo Slice will face James “Colossus’’ Thompson. Other televised fights: EliteXC middleweight champ Robbie Lawler defends against Scott Smith, Phil Baroni meets Joey Villasenor and Brett Rogers takes on Jon Murphy.
