World Wrestling Entertainment’s RAW crew will be at Arena Santiago in Santiago, Chile, tonight. WWE has announced the following events: August 9 in Newark, DE, at the Bob Carpenter Center, August 10 in Binghamton, NY, at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena, August 19 in Moline, IL, at the I Wireless Center, August 23 in Erie, PA, at the Erie Civic Center, September 5 in Rochester, NY, at the Blue Cross Arena, and September 12 in Texarkana, AR, at the Four States Fair Entertainment Center. Great Championship Wrestling returns to Phenix City, AL, on July 3 at the GR8 SK8 Plex. Advertised: GCW Heavyweight Champion Johnny Swinger vs. Micah Taylor for the title, with Tracy Taylor as the referee. The show will also feature a one night tournament with the winner earning a championship match on July 10. Participants in the tournament include David Young, Cru Jones, Shaun Banks, and Scotty Beach. (Larry Goodman)

JULY 2, 1963 (TUESDAY) – MACON, GA – MACON CITY AUDITORIUM (Fred Ward – Promoter / Georgia Championship Wrestling) > Corsica Joe defeated Jack Bence > Women’s World Title Match: the Fabulous Moolah* defeated Judy Grable > Tim Geohagen & Bill Dromo versus Tarzan & Rip Tyler wrestled to a draw / Notes: Rip Tyler was being billed as Tarzan Tyler’s brother. The Fabulous Moolah had been billed as Women’s World Champion since she defeated Judy Grable on September 18, 1956, in Baltimore, MD. However, she was not considered the undisputed champion until June Byers retired with her title, won in Atlanta on August 20, 1954, in a win over Mildred Burke, until Byers retired in 1964.

Sputnik Monroe had been scheduled, but there was no mention in the reports following the card. It was announced that Wildman Phillips and the Mongolian would be wrestling on the card on July 9, 1965, and that Paul Jones was negotiating with Eddie Graham and Lou Thesz for some future dates.
