Tampa, FL, July 29, 2008 - - As the leader in stand-up striking fights, Shin Do Kumaté® is without question the most competitive in the sport. On Saturday, August 9, 2008, the best of the best professional fighters will come together in the internationally televised Shin Do Kumaté event titled “Ancient Ones.”

Broadcast Team for the PPV Just Signed

MKM Knockout Promotions, LLC. will be taping this event for a future PPV airing. Your hosts will be Shannon Rose and Paul Leighton.

Leighton, started with MKM in 2007, and has been a radio and TV personality for many years plus a longtime fight fan.

The main event will feature Clifton Brown vs. Crafton Wallace in a full Thai rules bout. The anticipation for this fight is overwhelming in the fighting industry. Shin Do Kumaté is the event for all fight fans to see whether they’re fans of boxing, wrestling, kickboxing, or MMA, as the fighters are of the highest caliber with many spectacular knockouts. Shin Do Kumaté is an international event based in the Tampa Bay area. The Kumaté consists of three 3-minute rounds, which calls for high-intensity and fast paced bouts.

Clifton Brown is the number two ranked fighter in the world in the Light Heavyweight division in Muay Thai. Brown has fought in over 40 countries and trained in Thailand to master his fighting skills at the place where Muay Thai originated. He holds multiple Championship Belts worldwide and will be fighting for the first time in Shin Do Kumaté against Crafton Wallace. Wallace comes from a Kickboxing and Muay Thai background, with the past few years competing in MMA events. He is a renowned international fighter actively fighting in the U.S. in Full Contact events, including the World Combat League, King of the Cage, and UFC.

The co-main event features Remy Bonnel vs. Fernando Calleros. Remy is a 3 time Shin Do Kumaté veteran and has gained International prestige by beating some of the best fighters in the world. He has the most devastating kicks in his weight class and he’ll be looking for revenge for a controversial loss to Fernando Calleros last year. Fernando Calleros has fought matches in Muay Thai, Kickboxing and Full Contact Fighting worldwide and will be featured in Shin Do Kumaté for the first time, but to defend his win against Remy to prove his win was justified. This is a fight you do not want to miss!

If you watched Fight Girls on Oxygen, then you know Felice Herrig who will be fighting against Jessica Sanchez. Felice has her own television talk show ”Combat Wire” in Chicago and in addition to the Fight Girls reality show, she competed in the nationally televised World Combat League on Versus.
