Funk's Corner - Public Tryouts For All Japan Pro Wrestling - New Experience For Wrestling Fans

Saturday September 6th at the Funking Conservatory tryouts for All Japan Pro Wrestling with Osamu Nishimura will be open to the public. The exhibitions will be filmed for !BANG! TV and for private link to the All Japan Booking Office.

Funking Conservatory wrestlers will have two five minute opportunities to show their wrestling skills in a training match in front of Judges, Osamu Nishimura and Dory Funk Jr. who will score their performance on a ten point system, 10 being a perfect score 5 for average performance and 1 for poor performance.

Wrestlers will be required to perform specific wrestling moves for the Judges and will also be credited for their creativity in performing their signature wrestling moves.

Wrestlers will also be judged in a separate performance on their ability to perform specific All Japan Pro Wrestling and Funking Conservatory practice drills.

Osamu Nishimura's selection last time at Funking Conservatory tryouts was Antonio Thomas who is in Japan working now for All Japan Pro Wrestling.

Sunday September 7th all wrestlers will return for our !BANG! TV Taping to announce two winners of the tryout matches who will face each other, winner to wrestle for All Japan Pro Wrestling.

The winner will have to display extreme discipline and fortitude to acquire the knowledge and skills required to become a member of the All Japan Pro Wrestling Team.

Featured in the main event will be an "8 Man Tag Team Match," in action will be Dory Funk Jr., Osamu Nishimura, Johnny Magnum and Damien Steele going against Blain Rage, Shane Chung, Elvis Sharp and Johnny Romano.

In a Hard Core Rules match, Damien Steele will challenge Johnny Romano for the Hard Core Championship. Three more matches will be added to the card.
