Savannah Valley Wrestling presented "The Chicken Coop Conspiracy" on September 27 in Royston, GA. Bam Bam Bradshaw defeated Enigma. In a match for the Reaction championship, Kid Cassanova retained by defeating Dwindle. In a SVW tag title match, "Old School" retained by defeating Kevin Blue and Jackill. Shane Bell & Jason Blackman defeated J.D. Jackson & Jake Sanders. Ballenger defeated Alexander Phoenix. James BLVD defeated Chris Spectra.

SVW presents "Scared of No One," to take place on October 11 at Graybell Auction in Royston, GA. Matches to be added. Bell time is 7:30. Tickets are $10 for adults and tickets for kids under 13 are free. This will be an Internet webcast taping and SVW will debut its new 6 sided ring.

!BANG! presents "Fall Fight Night I & II," to take place on October 4 and October 5 at the Funking Conservatory in Ocala, FL. Matches announced are Osamu Nishimura, Dory Funk Jr., & Johnny Magnum vs. HC Loc, Blain Rage, & Todd Smith. For the Funking Conservatory title, Elvis Sharp vs. Johnny Magnum. In a Florida championship match, Shane Chung vs. Antonio Thomas vs. Blain Rage. Hardcore championship tournament match, Johnny Romano vs. "Pistol" Peyton Gunn. Barbara Baker and Nell Stewart were scheduled to wrestle each other, but no results were reported after the card. It was announced that Paul Jones was negotiating with NWA World Heavyweight Champion Lou Thesz for some dates in Atlanta. It was also announced that Cora Combs would wrestle Ella Waldek on the card on October 8, 1954.

OCTOBER 1, 1965 (FRIDAY) – ATLANTA, GA – ATLANTA MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM [P] (Paul Jones – Promoter / Georgia Championship Wrestling) > Dick Steinborn defeated Bob Boyer > Dale Lewis defeated Bill Dromo > Women’s Tag Team Match: Judy Grable & Toni Rose defeated Penny Brooks & Linda Carroll > Nick Kozak defeated Dutch Savage by disqualification > Southern Heavyweight Title Match: Freddie Blassie defeated Bob Orton* by disqualification / Notes: Following the match between Freddie Blassie and Bob Orton, Blassie left the ring with the belt, proclaiming he was the new champion. The belt was later returned to Orton, much to the dismay of Blassie, who firmly believed he had won the title. Orton had been the reigning Southern Heavyweight Champion as recognized by the Tampa, FL, office since he won a tournament on June 17, 1965, in Jacksonville, FL. Charlie Harben was credited as being a referee on this card. It was announced that Dick the Bruiser would be wrestling in Atlanta soon.

OCTOBER 1, 1968 (TUESDAY) – MACON, GA – MACON CITY AUDITORIUM (Fred Ward – Promoter / Georgia Championship Wrestling) > Bob Boyer defeated Joe Turco > Women’s Match: Barbara Owens defeated Patti Neilson > Bill Dromo defeated Billy Garrett > NWA World Heavyweight Title Match: Gene Kiniski* defeated the Professional / Notes: Gene Kiniski had been the reigning NWA World Heavyweight Champion since he defeated Lou Thesz on January 7, 1966, in St. Louis, MO.

OCTOBER 1, 1971 (FRIDAY) – ATLANTA, GA – ATLANTA MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM [P] (Paul Jones – Promoter / Georgia Championship Wrestling) > Jerry Oates defeated Cisco Grimaldo > Kubla Khan defeated Joe Turco > Bill Dromo & Bob Armstrong defeated Rocket & Flash Monroe > Buddy Colt defeated Klondike Bill > El Mongol defeated Big John > Georgia Tag Team Title Match: the Assassins* defeated Dick Steinborn & George Scott / Notes: Following the match between the Assassins and Dick Steinborn & George Scott, whereas Steinborn was carried from the ring on a stretcher, Paul Jones entered the ring and took the title belts from the Assassins. He declared he was holding them up pending a rematch between the two teams. The Assassins had been billed as Georgia Tag Team Champions since August 13, 1971. The program for this card reported that Big John had yet to sign the contract Ray Gunkel agreed to for a match between them, despite John’s claims that Gunkel was a coward for not answering his challenges. It was announced that Nick Bockwinkel and Mr. Wrestling would be wrestling in Atlanta soon. Bob Armstrong participated in an autograph session for fans.
