El Monte, Ca – November 12, 2008 - MMA Fighters Weigh In: Today's Economy a relentless opponent; Fighters help local business fight another day.

MMA Stars Danny Abbadi (UFC), Savant Young (IFL), Aaron Miller, Brandon Michels, Cesar Urquilla, and other special guests come together to support local business struggling with today's bleak economy.

There will be giveaways, meet and greets, music, and merchandise / tickets sales for upcoming MMA fights.

This event will be held on Sunday November 16, 2008 at 12:00 P.M. at Doña Maria Perez Restaurant, located at 12010 Ramona Blvd, El Monte, Ca 91723.
All proceeds from this benefit event will go directly to the Perez Family business. This benefit is being hosted by Blood Bank MMA, and Sparta MMA. Other Sponsors include Toe 2 Toe.

Doña Maria Perez Restaurant has served the community of El Monte, for many years and has been a testament for immigrants wanting a slice of the American Dream. Due to today's difficult economic times, Doña Maria Perez Restaurant has come close to closing its doors.
