Tako’s fundraiser for the family of John Graziano will be held tonight at the Passion Night Club in Hollywood, FL. The event begins at 8:00 PM, with celebrity guest appearances being advertised. The word is that Christian Cage, who has yet to re-sign a deal with Total Nonstop Action, has received an offer from WWE. Cage’s current deal expires in only a few weeks, which is the reason TNA has backed off of using him for the moment, in an effort to avoid having to abort a major storyline.
The final overall rating for the November 13 edition of TNA’s iMPACT was 1.1.
Tickets for the following TNA event goes on sale Saturday: January 11 for the Genesis PPV in Charlotte, NC, at the Cricket Arena.
Ring of Honor’s latest PPV event, Driven, debuts tonight, and is available on iN DEMAND, the Dish Network, and TVN cable systems. Replays will also be shown throughout the weekend. Matches include: Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black defending the ROH World Tag Team Title against Kevin Steen & El Generico; Nigel McGuinness defends the ROH World Heavyweight Title against Roderick Strong; a tag team scramble featuring Necro Butcher, the YRR, the Vulture Squad, and Mark & Jay Briscoe; a three-way elimination match with Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, and Go Shiozaki; Jerry Lynn versus Chris Hero; Brent Albright & Erick Stevens versus Sweet N’ Sour, Inc.; Sara Del Rey versus Jessie McKay; and Austin Aries versus Delirious. ROH has announced some additions to some upcoming cards. Sami Callahan will participate in four-corners matches in both Dayton, OH, and Chicago Ridge, IL, on November 21 and 22 respectively, with Claudio Castagnoli and Silas Young in the one in Dayton, and Rhett Titus in the one in Dayton. Also in Dayton, it will be Austin Aries and Tyler Black challenging ROH World Heavyweight Champion Nigel Mcguinness in a three-way match. Erick Stevens has been pulled from teaming with Brent Albright & Roderick Strong against Davey Richards, Chris Hero & Go Shiozaki, due to an injury. A new partner is expected to be announced in a few days. Kenny King versus Kenny Omega has been added to the December 5 event in Collinsville, IL, with Luke Williams also making an appearance. On that card, MsChief will defend the Shimmer Title against Daizee Haze. Williams will also be at the show in Nashville, TN, on December 6, where King and Titus team with Sal Rinauro against Omega and Mark & Jay Briscoe. In addition for Nashville, Jerry Lynn versus McGuinness has been added. On December 27 in New York, NY, it will be Bryan Danielson versus Takeshi Morishima.
NWA Prime Time, formerly Prime Time Pro Wrestling, returns to the Prime Time Arena (5000 Burnham Boulevard) in Columbus, GA, tonight. Advertised: Bulldog Raines vs. Colt Derringer in a fan lumberjack match, where 16 fans have been chosen to be the lumberjacks. Ace Rockwell & Frankie Valentine vs. Champions Simon Sermon & Thomas Britain (with Jimmy Rave) for the PTPW Tag Team Titles. Bad Company's Chris Stevens & David Young vs. Iceberg & Jake Slater.
