World Wrestling Entertainment has released Armando Estrada.

World Wrestling Alliance 4 will be at the WWA4 training school in Atlanta, GA, tonight.

Kin Folk Wrestling will be at the National Guard Armory in Pigeon Forge, TN, tonight.

GWH wishes a happy birthday to Ted Turner (1938).

Fusion Tradition Wrestling results from "Shattered Psyche" in Sparta, TN, at the Stronghold, on November 15: Tradition Champion Patrick Colvett beat Jed Anderson by DQ. Xander Blaze beat El Gringo & Dirty J. Mad Dogg & Dillon Divine beat Dustin Simon & Jason Nesmith. Toby Farley & AC Frost & Robert Mulligan & Patrick Colvett b Mike Promo & Rocky Mac & Daddy Mac & Jed Anderson, Lord Frost & Ryan Jeffries & Billy Merciless & Logan Shane beat Michael Jablonski & Jeremy Travis & Shane Smalls & New York Gangster. Pro Wrestling Evolution makes their comeback with "Return to Arms" on February 22 at the Hot Wheels Skate Center in Woodstock, GA. Advertised: The main event will feature Ace Rockwell vs. Slaughter vs. Kyle Matthews vs. the mysterious Super Punk to crown the first ever Evolution Internet Champion (PWE's version of the TV Title). Other wrestlers on the roster include Murder One, Chip Day, Kareem Abdul Jamar, Chris King, and new host of Pirate TV, Donnie DeMarco. Bell time is 7:30 pm. More details to follow.

Lou Thesz had been the reigning NWA World Heavyweight Champion since he defeated Bill Longson in Indianapolis, IN, on July 20, 1948. This version was the one recognized by the National Boxing Association as the National Wrestling Association.

Although not mentioned, Kola Kwariani was likely in attendance, as he was charged with traveling with Argentina Rocca as a troubleshooter for him.

Ray Gunkel had been the reigning Georgia Television Champion since he defeated Big John on October 15, 1971, in Atlanta. Eddie Smith and Charlie Smith were credited as being referees for this card. The program for this card mentioned that Paul Jones would be attending the annual NWA Board meeting in St. Louis, MO, the following week. It was announced that Bobo Brazil would be wrestling in Atlanta on December 3, 1971. Klondike Bill participated in an autograph session for fans.
