The lineup for World Wrestling Entertainment’s Tribute to the Stars show, to be broadcast on NBC tonight is as follows: Jeff Hardy, CM Punk & R-Truth versus JBL, John Morrison & the Miz; and John Cena, Rey Mysterio & Batista versus Chris Jericho, Randy Orton & the Big Show. Also featured are Cryme Tyme, with divas as Santa’s helpers. Vince McMahon also speaks to the crowd.

The final overall rating for Thursday’s edition of Total Nonstop Action’s iMPACT was 1.2.

Frankie Valentine became the latest wrestler to switch sides in the ongoing promotional war in the Phenix City-Columbus, GA, area. Valentine made a surprise appearance at the December 18 Great Championship Wrestling show in Columbus making the save for J-Rod against Hot Like Lava. Complete results for "Nowhere to Hide," GCW's final event of 2008 were as follows: Slaughter (with Wicked Nemesis) beat Tex Monroe and Joey Lightning, Shaun Banks beat Kareem Abdul Jamar to win the GCW Interstate Title Tournament, Scotty Beach beat Ron Stalker (with Princeton Gainey III) Gainey jumped on Santa during the match, The GCW tag title match between Champions Merchants of Death (Orion Bishop & Murder One) and Southside Trash ended as a double DQ, J-Rod beat Cru Jones in a no DQ/Falls Count Anywhere match to retain the GCW Heavyweight Title. Said to be quite the wild brawl with action all over the arena and out into the parking lot.
