NEWS and NOTES

Our message board was hacked on December 29, 2008, and sadly everything was lost. We are in the process of building a new one, with tighter security, and invite former members to please register at the new one, by clicking here. If you have not been a member of our forums previously, we also encourage you to join us. The board is still being designed visually, but posting can take place during this process. Unfortunately, all news and notes were wiped out, as well as detailed information on upcoming events, but we are making every attempt possible to keep moving forward.

World Wrestling Entertainment’s SmackDown crew will be at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ, tonight. Advertised: Matt & Jeff Hardy versus Edge & the Big Show. This will be taped for Friday’s broadcast on MyNetwork TV, as well as the following week’s show.

Click here for a 1999 IWU match at the Masquerade in Atlanta, GA, featuring Terry Lawler versus Murder One, with Todd Wimbleton. David Young and the Notorious DOG also get in on the action. Click here for footage from an ECW taping for TNN in 1999, featuring Sabu and others, but also including M1 and Wimbleton. In 2000, Fox 5 in Atlanta did a feature on ECW, thought it leans more toward what the wrestlers wear than anything else. Steve Corino appears, among others, as does Mary Greer, the s0-called ‘Queen of Lycra’. Click here for the clip. Thanks to Todd Bathje for the footage.

Rampage Pro Wrestling results from Johnny G’s in Warner Robins, GA, on December 28: Oko Nono over Kyle Matthews; A.J. Steele over Rob Adonis and Kodiak in a three-way match; Colt Derringer over Chip Day; Tracy Taylor & Sumie Sakai over Melissa Coates & Genni Wright; and Frankie Valentine, Sal Rinauro & Cru Jones over Micah Taylor, J-Rod & Johnny Gayton, with Ron Simmons.
