Melissa Coates, Canadian National Champion Body Builder, Voted best woman wrestler in Georgia, former WWE Wrestler and graduate of Lakehead University with a degree in biology came to the Funking Conservatory New Year's eve to challenge "The Claw" Claudia Reiff for the Funking Conservatory Women's Championship.

"The Claw was overpowered by the fast talking Melissa Coates but came away with a surprising upset victory and would you believe, "The Claw" got the last word.

In another match Inside the Steele Cage on !BANG! TV in a Three way for the Funking Conservatory Premium !BANG! TV Championship, Jumbo Elvis gained a victory over Stiff Biff Whitman and Johnny Romano both at the same time with a unique application of the figure four leg lock and reverse cradle both at the same time.

We are looking forward to a big weekend with Osamu Nishimura and NOSAWA Rongai coming to the Funking Conservatory Wrestling School on Saturday January 31st and Sunday February 1st.

The Funking Conservatory is the Official American Training Center for All Japan Pro Wrestling.

New to the Funking Conservatory this week, from Alaska, The Wasilla Wrecking Crew and Bruno Marciano.

Saturday January 31st Osamu Nishimura will be at the Funking Conservatory to get a close look at the wrestling skills of our athletes in a training/workout situation.

Sunday February 1st, Osamu Nishimura will get an even closer look at the skills of our athletes as Nishimura will team with myself and Johnny Magnum in three way six man tag team tournament which will give prospective wrestlers the opportunity to work with Osamu Nishimura in the ring in a live professional wrestling setting.
