SAN ANTONIO, TX -- Two San Antonio-based wrestling organizations are inviting the public to the San Antonio premiere of the critically-acclaimed movie "The Wrestler," starring Golden Globe winner Mickey Rourke and nominee Marisa Tomei. The premiere will take place on Friday, January 23 at The Bijou Theatre at Crossroads, located at 4522 Fredericksburg Rd. The movie will start at 7:30 p.m.

Following the film, wrestling legend Jose Lothario and wrestlers from RCW and W4CW will participate in a 30-minute live roundtable discussion. They will discuss topics and issues from the film as well as from the wrestling industry itself. An autograph session will follow.

"The Wrestler" allows the public to see inside the wrestling industry, covering the life of a wrestler past-his-prime as he attempts a comeback.

Tickets are at the regular movie price -- $9, and can be purchased at The Bijou box office or online at http://www.santikos.com/bijou.html. Military and student discounts are available.

For more information about RCW, including its next wrestling event on Saturday, January 24, at Church Triumphant (339 W. Hutchins in San Antonio) at 8 p.m., please visit http://www.rcw-wrestling.com or call (210) 842-8398.

Note from Ric: If you're anywhere near the area, and don't take advantage of meeting Jose Lothario, Jesus should smite you. Sure, meeting Marisa Tomei would be even sweeter, but we can't always get exactly what we want.
