World Wrestling Entertainment’s RAW/ECW crew will be in Sioux City, IA, at the Tyson Events Center for the live RAW broadcast tonight. Tuesday’s ECW broadcast will also be taped. Advertised: John Cena versus Shawn Michaels; Randy Orton versus Kane; William Regal defends the WWE Inter-Continental Heavyweight Title against CM Punk, and the title can change hands on a disqualification; and Matt Hardy defends the WWE ECW Heavyweight Title against Jack Swagger. Also on the bill: Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio. Bell time is 6:30 PM. The live RAW feed on USA Network begins at 9:00 PM ET.

Heavily touted film "The Wrestler" was part of a 1-2 punch at the 2009 Golden Globes as Mickey Rourke picked up the "Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama" award, and theme song "The Wrestler", written and performed by Bruce Springsteen for the movie, won for best original song.

Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling results from January 10 in Easley, SC at the Easley High School. Paid attendance was 2600. Wow. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair began the show with a several minute long promo which was well received. Chris Hamrick bested Andrue Bane to win the vacant NWA Mid-Atlantic Hardcore Title (last held by the Barbarian) in 12:15, Amber O'Neal defeated Daffney in 13:02, Bobby Eaton won over the Russian Assassin (Jeff Justice) in 8:25, Ricky Morton defeated Donnie Dollar$ in 8:02, NWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Buff Bagwell retained his title with a win over #1 contender Rikki Nelson (MACW Jr. Champ) in 13:38.

The Assassins had been the reigning Macon Tag Team Champions since they defeated Bob Armstrong & Paul DeMarco on December 15, 1970, in Macon. Jack Crawford managed Kubla Khan.
