Update On Jeff Monson
On Tuesday, Jeff Monson (free from his excursion in a North Carolina jail) was back in Olympia, Washington, where he copped a not-guilty plea to charges of malicious mischief.
A twenty-thousand-dollar bond has, for the moment, insured Monson's freedom, but he wasn't allowed to keep his passport, as the judge felt Monson was a flight risk.
Monson's attorney plans to appeal the latter, because, in February, Monson's scheduled to fight in St. Petersburg, Russia, and in March, Tokyo.
Besides, Monson, 38, has lived in Olympia for nearly thirty-years, and has a(t least one) wife and two kids, so he appears firmly rooted.
More to come.
