WWE results from the RAW broadcast at the Spokane Arena in Spokane, WA, on February 16: Vickie Guerrero came out with Edge and confirmed he is indeed the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, having inserted himself into the elimination chamber at last night’s No Way Out PPV, although he will remain on the SmackDown roster – John Cena came out and congratulated him, saying he earned it, but he would get his rematch down the road; Shane McMahon issued a challenge to Randy Orton for a match later in the show, with no rules, referee, Cody Rhodes, or Ted DiBiase, Jr., vowing it would end tonight; William Regal, Rhodes & DiBiase, Jr., over CM Punk & Cryme Tyme; Stephanie McMahon is seen backstage trying to talk Shane out of a match with Orton; Chris Jericho came out and ripped on Mickey Rourke, only to have Roddy Piper join him – Piper knocked Jericho for taking shots at Rourke and wrestling legends like Flair, but eventually offers his hand to Jericho, who instead kicked Piper in the knee, and then some while Piper was down, before walking away; backstage, Orton accepted Shane’s challenge; after a promo by Jamie Noble talking about how he was going to have a WrestleMania moment and shine, only to get squashed by Kane is about 15 seconds; JBL came out and announced he no longer owns Shawn Michaels, and that as of today, Michaels owns all of his stuff and is once again financially stable – Michaels then came out and issued a challenge to JBL next week for the right to then issue a challenge for a WrestleMania match against the Undertaker, in an attempt to break his undefeated streak at the event – JBL accepted; Rey Mysterio, Jr., over Mike Knox; Melina over Beth Phoenix to retain the WWE Women’s Title, despite interference from Rosa Mendez; Stephanie is seen backstage talking to someone on the ohone about stopping Shane from fighting Orton, but the phone seems to go dead; during the “non-sanctioned” match, Shane manhandles Orton, and can only be stopped by Rhodes and DiBiase, Jr., who beat down Shane long enough for Orton to come back, delivering a kick similar to the one he dealth Vince McMahon a few weeks back – Stephanie hit the ring to check on Shane, and when she began pleading with Orton, Orton delivered the RKO to her – while Stephanie was down on the mat next to Shane, Triple H hit the ring, resulting in a quick exit by Legacy, and HHH staring down Orton as the show ended.
