Reps Of Sleazy Sport Sued By Reps Of Sleazier Sport

-- Ric Gillespie

So, yesterday, in Miami-Dade County Court, SoBe Entertainment International, LLC, officially filed a lawsuit, naming Paul "The Big Show" Wight, Bess Wight (Paul's wife), and World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., as defendants.

The suit (which I humbly present, for your viewing pleasure) asks for two-million-dollars, alleging that, in 2007, SoBe not only signed "Show" to an eighty-four-thousand-dollar-per-month contract to box, but fronted him an additional one-million-dollars, which was used to purchase a home (which, because of a back-tax issue with the IRS, currently has a lien placed on it).

The suit also alleges that, by again signing "Show," WWE illegally interfered with SoBe's exclusivity rights, similar to the ones obtained by Vince McMahon's empire.

I'm no legal expert, nor do I even play one on television, but where the wife comes in, I guess, is that she lived in the house and/or spent some of the money.
