World Wrestling Entertainment Possibly Headed Into Mainstream Hall-Of-Fame

WWE, for their ability to market pay-per-views, has been nominated for induction into this year's CTAM (Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing) Hall Of Fame.

"Stiff" competition includes: Comedy Central's marketing of 'South Park' (that show still around?); FOX News' 'We Report. You Decide' campaign (bor-ing); Time Warner Cable's marketing of 'Road Runner' (huh?); Turner's marketing of the TBS & TNT brands (WTF?).

We all wait, with bated breath, until the winner's announced in October.
