Friday’s ASC MMA Show In N.H.“Streaming Free”
Lamotte-Gordon headline at Icenter in Salem, New Hampshire
SALEM, New Hampshire (July 29, 2009) – Friday night’s (July 31) inaugural American Steel Cagefighting’s (ASC) mixed martial arts show, headlined by Manchester welterweight Nate “The Future” Lamotte (10-4-0), of Manchester, against Doug “Flash” Gordon (9-7-0) will be “streamed” live, for free, from the Icenter in Salem, New Hampshire.
The fights will be “streamed” on www.americansteelcagefighting.com, but blacked out locally, and available by simply submitting first names and corresponding email addresses on the web site.
In the co-main event, New York lightweight Pat Audinwood (7-0-0) puts his unbeaten record on the line against veteran “Mr. Big” Al Buck (6-7-0), former Cage Fury Fighting champion.
In the “Super Fight” fans will have an opportunity to watch two UFC veterans in action as UFC1 pioneer fighter Patrick Smith (16-13-0), making his New England debut, takes on super heavyweight Kevin “The Shamnan” Jordan (11-8-0).
A minimum of seven other pro and amateur matches are scheduled. All fights and fighters are subject to change.
The eight pro fights are scheduled for three, three-minute rounds; fighters and fights are subject to change. ASC is co-owned by David Garofalo and Sal LoNano. Garofalo is the proprietor of Two Guys Smoke Shop, in Salem (NH), one of the world’s highest volume independently owned cigar retailer. LoNano, who managed professional boxers “Irish” Micky Ward and former world light welterweight champion Paulie “Magic Man” Malignaggi, owns S & L Boxing, which has promoted numerous nationally televised pro boxing shows. Gary Marino is the ASC matchmaker.
