I used to love to make the trip to Puerto Rico. I would work a three day weekend. Marti and I stayed at the Ramada Inn in the center of the Condado. The beach was beautiful. We acquired a taste for Spanish food and regularly ate at the La Tasca Resturant near the Caribe Hilton Hotel.

Working Puerto Rico for Marti and I was an enjoyable experience, we always loved being at the beach any where in the world.

On Friday, February 27, 1988 wrestling in a tournament for the Universal Heavyweight Championship in San Juan Puerto Rico before a sold out house in Hiram Bithorn Stadium I faced the legend, Bruiser Brody.
