Sean Salmon Hopeful Of Not-Far-Off Return To Fighting

There may be hope for Sean Salmon, currently six-plus-months into an indefinite suspension, levied by California's State Athletic Commission, in the wake of a seizure-inducing knockout (at Strikeforce's middleweight tourney, November 16, 2006, courtesy of Jorge Santiago).

Salmon, who has, by his own admission, immensely improved his standup game, meets with the CSAC, on Wednesday, in the hopes of once again being able to compete as a mixed-martial-artist.

Good luck, Sean, and I'll try to keep everyone abreast of how things turn out.
