World Wrestling Entertainment’s SmackDown/ECW crew will be at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX, tonight. WWE results from the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX, on June 23: Triple H over Mark Henry; Finlay & Hornswoggle over Santino Marella & Carlito; Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly over Chavo Guerrero & Bam Neely; John Morrison & the Miz over Matt & Jeff Hardy; a match featuring Mickie James & Melina versus Natalya Neidhart & Victoria ended in a double disqualification; John Cena over Edge by countout; MVP over Tommy Dreamer; JBL over Kofi Kingston; and Edge won a battle royal over (in order of elimination) the Great Khali, Shelton Benjamin, John Morrison, the Miz, CM Punk, Chavo Guerrero, MVP, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Batista, Kane, the Big Show, Triple H, and John Cena. The draft generated the following moves: Kane and CM Punk from ECW to RAW; Rey Mysterio, Batista, and announcer Michael Cole from SmackDown to RAW; Triple H, Mr. Kennedy, Jeff Hardy, Umaga, and announcer Jim Ross from RAW to SmackDown; and Matt Hardy from SmackDown to ECW. Peach State Pandemonium will feature Larry Zbyszko, author of the recently released Adventures in Larryland!, on June 25 at 9:00 PM ET. Also joining us will be Chasyn Rance and Vordell Walker. In addition, the broadcast will take place exactly one year from the day the bodies of the Benoit family were discovered, revealing a life of pain and torture. It is unclear as to how Don McIntyre came to be recognized as Southern Heavyweight Champion, although he had defeated Kurt Von Brawner to win the title on June 14, 1957, in Atlanta. Von Brawner had been billed as champion since April 10, 1957, in Augusta, and also was recognized since June 7, 1957, as champion in Marietta.

Dykes managed the Infernos. Following the match between Gene Kiniski and Buddy Fuller, Fuller was so enraged he took the title belt and ran to the dressing room. Gene Kiniski had been the reigning NWA World Heavyweight Champion since he defeated Lou Thesz on January 7, 1966, in St. Louis, MO. Charlie Harben and Leo Garibaldi were credited as being referees on this card. As a tribute to Paul Jones for his birthday, the program for this card featured a photo of Jones in his younger days applying the figure-four hook scissors on a struggling opponent. It also mentions that the Infernos were the European Tag Team Champions. It was announced that Butcher Vachon would be wrestling on the card on July 1, 1966.
