World Wrestling Entertainment® Composer/Producer/Director Of Music Jim Johnston Honored With 2008 BMI Award For Work In WWE® Monday Night RAW®

NEW YORK, New York, June 25, 2008 – Broadcast Music Inc® (BMI) the leading U.S. performing rights organization, honored World Wrestling Entertainment’s Composer/Producer/Director of Music, Jim Johnston, for his work on the number one cable program, “Monday Night RAW” which can be seen live every week on USA Network, 9pm/8c. Monday Night RAW broadcasts live 52 weeks a year - no repeats, and is watched by more fans than regular season basketball, baseball and hockey on cable TV.

This is the seventh time that Johnston has been honored with a BMI Award for his work with WWE Music.

Johnston is responsible for the composition and production of the WWE Superstar entrance music that can be heard on Monday Night RAW. His creation of themes have been associated with hundreds of WWE Superstars including Stone Cold Steve Austin™, The Rock®, Undertaker®, Chris Jericho®, Batista®, Mr. Kennedy®, and the WWE Divas. Over the years, Johnston has written thousands of entrance themes, enhancing WWE Superstar’s added characters and definition as well as electrifying crowds around the world.
