Today in Memoriam: Adam Marks (21, 2006).

We have been reporting at GWH on the updated of Killer Kowalski, who suffered a heart attack and Friday and was not expected to make it through the night. However, he did, and we have been reporting updates on his status since shortly after distributing yesterday’s report, so we would be remiss if we didn’t add the good news of how he did and seemed to improve on Saturday within today’s report. He was taken off life support yesterday, and it is reported he was non-responsive at first, leading some websites to prematurely report his death, though word last night is he was making a comeback. We at GWH are pulling for the Kowalski family and friends.

We received word last week from Bobby Simmons that longtime Georgia referee Bill McMinn had been diagnosed with cancer. McMinn will undergo surgery on Wednesday. GWH asks that you keep Bill, as well as friends and family, in your thoughts and prayers.

Rich Tate from GWH will appear on August-based Mat Chat radio show this afternoon at 3:00 PM ET. Matt Crosby will also appear.

In a video clip that is getting around on YouTube, fan Tako of Sickasso Cycles in Hollywood, FL, visits the home of Hulk Hogan, leaving him, among items such as Vaseline, Preparation H, and Chap Stick, a letter challenging him to a fight for charity to benefit the family of John Graziano, suggesting that will repair Hogan’s reputation “by doing the right thing”, as stated by Tako in a conversation with GWH’s Rich Tate. Because of the victory was by DQ, The Ultimate Dragon retains the Southern cruiserweight championship. Scotty Riggs defeats Johnny Swinger. "Primetime" Elix Skipper defeats Sal Rinauro by countout. As a result, Rinauro retained the PWA cruiserweight championship. The 10 man gauntlet battle royal for the King of the Ring trophy and a $5000 check was declared a no contests when Sal Rinauro, who didn't enter the ring on his turn, enters and eliminates both El Mexicano and Ace Rockwell. Jason Norton reports that at the August 8 Champions With Attitudes show at the Jamil Temple in Columbia, SC, it was announced that former WWE/WCW wrestling legend Ric Flair would be making an appearance at the October 3rd CWA event also to be held at the Jamil Temple. Fans can purchase a special Ric Flair V.I.P. pass for $75 which includes an autographed pictured, a Polaroid photo opportunity, and 6:00 PM early entry with ringside seats. VI.P. pass holders will also be able to bring an additional item to be signed.

Ring of Honor has announced the full card to take place at Gray’s Armory in Cleveland, OH, on August 15. Advertised: Nigel McGuinness defends the ROH World Heavyweight Title against El Generico; Austin Aries versus Tyler Black in a grudge match; Erick Stevens defends the FIP Heavyweight Title against Claudio Castagnoli; another grudge match, this one featuring Brent Albright & Roderick Strong versus Chris Hero & Go Shiozaki; and Bryan Danielson versus Kenny King.
