STAMFORD, Conn., September 3, 2008 - Grammy Award winners and hard rock legends Motörhead have been enlisted to provide their new song “Rock Out” as the official theme music for World Wrestling Entertainment®’s September pay-per-view event, Unforgiven. “Rock Out” is the lead track off Motörhead’s eagerly-awaited new album, Motörizer.

Beginning Monday, August 18th, “Rock Out” has been heard on all WWE television programming leading up to Unforgiven, which airs live on pay-per-view on Sunday, September 7 from the Quicken Loan Arena in Cleveland, OH. The song is also available for download via iTunes and streaming on WWE.com.

Millions of WWE fans are already quite familiar with Motörhead, as they perform “The Game,” the entrance theme for WWE Champion Triple H®. Motörhead and Triple H have been a successful tag team in the past; Motörhead performed additional theme songs “King of Kings” and “Line in the Sand” for Triple H and his former stable, Evolution®.

Motörizer, Motörhead’s 24th studio album, was released in the U.S. on August 26. Motörhead will also embark on a national tour beginning this week. An iconic hard rock band that continues to forge ahead and not look back, Motörhead has influenced generations of bands and are revered by the likes of Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, Ozzy Osbourne, The Ramones, Guns N' Roses and Metallica, who have all paid tribute to the Motörhead legend. Much like the WWE, Motörhead is supported by legions of devoted fans and has made a lasting impression on pop culture.
