World Wrestling Entertainment’s RAW crew will be at Pabello Olimpic de Badalona in Barcelona, Spain, tonight. The SmackDown/ECW crew will be at Olympiahalle in Innsbruck, Austria.

Ring of Honor’s New Horizons PPV debuts tonight. The event is available on the Dish Network, iN Demand, and TVN cable, as well as Canada’s Bell Express and Viewer’s Choice. Matches include: Nigel Mcguinness defending the ROH World Heavyweight Title against Claudio Castagnoli; Bryan Danielson versus Tyler Black; Roderick Strong & Naomichi Marufuji versus Chris Hero & Go Shiozaki; Kevin Steen versus Necro Butcher in a no disqualification match; and a four-way match featuring Shane Hagadorn, Erick Stevens, Delirious, and Ruckus. Also included are Austin Aries, Jimmy Jacobs, Larry Sweeney, and Mark & Jay Briscoe.

ROH has postponed the events that had been scheduled for October 10 in Coral Springs, FL, and October 11 in Orlando, FL. The shows are expected to be rescheduled for sometime early next year, with confirmed dates coming next week. All tickets purchased to date will be honored.

GWH wishes a happy birthday to the Unknown Soldier (31) and David Sammartino.

Prime Time Pro Wrestling returns to the Event Center in Columbus, GA, tonight with the following advertised card: The Wrestler vs. Dustin Powers. Frankie Valentine vs. Adrian Hawkins. The Technicians (Bob E & Tyler Smith) and Simon Sermon & Thomas Britain challenge the Southside Trash for the PTPW Tag Team Titles in a three-way match. David Young vs. Jake Slater. Bulldog Raines vs. Rob Adonis. In a non-title match, Chris Stevens vs. PTPW Champion Colt Derringer. If Stevens wins, he earns a title match on October 3. Bell time is 7:30pm.

PTPW promoter Billy Roper sat in with Rich Tate Thursday night to discuss his promotion’s history, talent, and past events, while also previewing tonight’s show. Click here to listen.

Great Championship Wrestling results for September 25 in Phenix City, AL, at the GR8 SK8 Plex: Attendance reported as approximately 125. Tex Monroe pinned Ron Stalker (with Princeton Gainey III). "That 80's Guy" John Bogie beat The Merchants of Death (Orion Bishop & Murder One with Wicked Nemesis) by disqualification in a handicap match. Cru Jones pinned J-Rod. Johnny Swinger pinned Bull Buchanan to become the #1 contender for the GCW Heavyweight Title after interference by Cru Jones. GCW Heavyweight Champion Micah Taylor (with Tracy Taylor) pinned Shaun Banks.

After their match, Sonny Siaki attacked both Tex Monroe and Ron Stalker. After his match, Cru Jones was interviewed by Taylor McKnight. Jones demanded a rematch for his heavyweight title and claimed that neither Swinger nor Buchanan deserved a shot at the #1 contendership.

GCW returns on October 2 to the GR8 SK8 Plex in Phenix City. As a special gift to the loyal GCW fans, all tickets will be $5, first come first serve for ringside seats.

GCW and "God Bless Fort Benning" will be teaming up on November 22 in downtown Columbus, GA. Matches will be taking place throughout the day. More information will be made available through their website.

NAWA Ring Champions results from September 6 at the Purks Building in Cedartown, GA, with a crowd of 400 reported: Ron Garvin & Air Paris defeated Nightmare & Bobby Hayes. Women's Title: Bambi beat Nigel Sherrod via DQ. Chris Ganz & Chris Lightning defeated Simon Sermon & Rick Michaels. Terry Lawler beat Kenny Arden via reverse decision. Josh Stone defeated Bulldog Raines. Waylon Rhodes beat Josh Hate and Stupid the Clown in a three way.

Ron Garvin, former Peach State Wrestling promoter Ben Masters and former Georgia Championship Wrestling referee and Office Manager Bobby Simmons were inducted into the NAWA Squared Circle Social Club (their version of a Hall of Fame).

They claim that when they lost the title to Bobby Shane & Doug Gilbert on September 25, 1970, saying that the amateur wrestling headgear their opponents wore during the match had them at an unfair advantage, as they alleged that the helmets may have been greased up prior to the match. Paul Jones said he and the championship committee would investigate and make a ruling at a later date.
