TRENTON, N.J. – The second release in the Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW)/Locomotive Vision partnership, “Ultraviolent Cage Fighting…The Construction of Destruction,” is due in stores nationwide this Tuesday, October 28.

Focusing on the cage element of CZW’s varied styles of matches, “Ultraviolent Cage Fighting” features three full matches from “Cage of Death” events, CZW’s biggest and most popular yearly event.

“CZW fans know to expect the unexpected and the same goes for each year’s Cage of Death,” said CZW founder John Zandig. “Every year is different. We never use the same cage twice.”

The first match comes from Cage of Death IV, “Sole Ownership.” The featured match is the culmination of the longtime feud between Zandig and “The One Man Army” Lobo, with the winner taking ownership of CZW.

Cage of Death V, “Suspended,” was one of the company’s most ambitious cage setups, with “Suspended” consisting of two rings, one cage, a million thumbtacks, and suspended scaffolding. The second match on “Ultraviolent Cage Fighting” comes from this event, with the six-man team of Team Zandig (Zandig, Nick Gage, Lobo, Wifebeater, Ian Knoxx, and New Jack) taking on Hi-V (Messiah, B-Boy, Adam Flash, The Backseat Boyz, and Nate Hatred).

Match number three is from Cage of Death VI, “Dual Dimension,” and pits Team Ca$h (Chri$ Ca$h, JC Bailey, Nate Webb, SeXXXy Eddy) against The BLKOUT (Ruckus, Sabian, Eddie Kingston, Jack Evans). During the match, BLKOUT members Maven Bentley and “Primo” Robbie Mireno were positioned on scaffolding and handcuffed atop the cage, with the ultimate goal being to get the championship belts that were buckled around their wastes.

“Ultraviolent Cage Fighting” also contains a bonus highlight reel from prior Cage of Death events. Included are Cage of Death I’s Lobo vs. Justice Pain, Cage of Death II’s Lobo vs. Zandig and Lobo vs. Justice Pain, and Cage of Death III’s Wifebater vs. Justice Pain.

The DVD includes full commentary, interactive menus, and action replays.

“First there was hardcore, now there is ultraviolence,” Zandig said. “Cage of Death separates CZW from everyone else and puts us over the top.”

Cage of Death X, “The Ultraviolent Anniversary,” will take place Saturday, December 13 at the New Alhambra Arena in Philadelphia.
