Another City Closes In On Legalizing Mixed-Martial-Arts

For the past month, officials of Hutchinson, Kansas, have seriously debated whether or not to bring MMA events to their town, hoping to cash in on the sport's of popularity.

Concerns, of course, have arisen, not only about the safety of fighters, but of those attending shows.

After today's city-council meeting, it was decided to bring the issue to another vote (in December, a similar proposal met in defeat), to take place on Monday, January 20.
