MIAMI, Jan. 6 -- Support the Heroes, a non-profit foundation, has announced today that MMA superstar Rich Franklin and American Fighter have joined efforts to help raise awareness about STH's cause. Support the Heroes is a private foundation that exists solely to provide assistance to traumatically injured veterans.

"It is a great honor to have Rich Franklin and American Fighter on board to help us give back to these great soldiers and their families. STH's Board of Directors consists of top-of-the-line military veterans and there is no way I could have done this without them and great people like Rich," said Matt Kleinsmith, founder of Support the Heroes.

STH and Rich Franklin have acknowledged the tremendous need to help the heroes coming back from serving and defending this great country. Franklin proudly states, "I am excited to be involved with Support the Heroes. I do a lot of work with the troops and nobody meets their needs the way that Support the Heroes does. When the brave men and women come back and need assistance, Support the Heroes does it in a real way. That is awesome." Franklin also works with Disabled American Veterans.

American Fighter, best brand apparel in MMA, is also gratified to work with Support the Heroes. "Together, through active and inactive duty we will strive to help every hero and their families through rough times, whether it is an injury from war or adjusting to civilian life, in any and every way possible," said Jeff Adler, president of American Fighter.

STH's guiding principles have been established by their founder, Matt Kleinsmith, and a Board of Directors consisting of veteran Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps service members. "We have traveled the tough road many of these same soldiers are traveling now and we are extremely fortunate to be able to offer financial and moral assistance to soldiers and their families," says Kleinsmith. The Support the Heroes Foundation was established by those who believe that individuals can make a difference. They believe that severely wounded veterans deserve to be treated with respect and admiration.
