Another City Decides Not To Legalize Mixed-Martial-Arts
In the wake of Hutchinson, Kansas' decision to hold another vote on whether to bring MMA to their town, officials in Goshen, Indiana, have (for now) decided to take the opposite approach.
Governing the sport (which is legal in the state) is presently thought to be too much of a chore, a situation, in the future, that could change.
For promoters, the idea was to circumvent more-expensive state or federal regulation, but, at this stage, it was not to be.
I, for one, certainly can't argue with Goshen's logic, since they seem to clearly have the sport's best interests at heart, and this wasn't designed to be a malicious way to keep mixed-martial-arts out of their town limits.
