Everybody's Always Innocent ... Even Those Who Admit Guilt

About ten-months ago, I first mentioned Kresten Ericksen, a city councilor in Ogdensburg, New York, accused of forging a WWE officials' signature in order to defraud the Ogdensburg Free Academy.

Earlier today, Ericksen, on the advice of his attorney, copped a plea and was sentenced on a charge of third-degree forgery, which is a misdemeanor and resulted in a one-year conditional discharge.

Ericksen also had to reimburse over fifteen-thousand-dollars to the OFA and resign from his post (as manager of their Golden Dome) at the school.

Despite today's events, Ericksen claimed faulty bookkeeping, not his forgery, was to blame for the missing funds.
