NEWS and NOTES

Peach State Pandemonium, hosted by Rich Tate and Les Thatcher, along with Tim Dix, will feature discussion on top national and local wrestling news items, beginning at 9:00 PM ET tonight. We will also be previewing the launch of the GWH Radio Network, and will hear from MMA Sunday's Ric Gillespie, Shot in the Dark's Jimmy Rave, the NoseBleed Section's John Cannon and Joey Cowart, and also Dan Masters, from Dan Masters Live, where each will let us know what we can expect from their new programs when they debut in January. This will be the final show of 2008. We will return on January 7.

World Wrestling Entertainment results from the ECW broadcast from Baltimore, MD, on December 16: Matt Hardy over Chavo Guerrero to retain the WWE ECW Heavyweight Title; Finlay over Gavin Spears; and Jack Swagger, John Morrison & the Miz over Ricky Ortiz, Kofi Kingston & CM Punk.

Afterwards, the debuting Melissa Coates continued to dismantle an already injured Tracy. J-Rod beat Sal Rinauro in a Blindfold Match. Micah Taylor beat A.J. Steele, Cru Jones, and Orion Bishop to become the new RPW Heavyweight Champion.

UFC Events and Programming Launch on SporTV and Premiere Combate, Begins with UFC 92: THE ULTIMATE 2008 Featuring Nogueira vs. Mir

Las Vegas, NV (USA) – Brazilian sports fans now have access to the best mixed martial arts (MMA) fights in the world, as the Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®) and Globosat today announced a three year television distribution agreement to show UFC events on two Globosat channels – Premiere Combate and SporTV.

Osirian Portal out of this weekend’s events

FIP officials are sorry to announce that The Osirian Portal will not be able to appear this weekend in Melbourne and Crystal River due to injury. We wish them a speedy recovery and plan to bring them back as soon as they are healthy and able to compete.

When told of the injury to their opponents for Friday Night in Melbourne, the Dark City Fight Club, had this to say: “Who are they kidding? Injured? You buy that nonsense? They aren’t hurt one bit. That isn’t to say they weren’t going to get hurt this weekend, because they were, but they are ducking us, just like everyone else out there. No one wants to get in the ring with us, because they know if they do, the chances of them walking out on their own two feet is absolutely zero.

That’s ok though… More motivation for us equals more pain and punishment for whoever is stupid enough to sign on the dotted line and get in the ring with us this weekend.”

ROH President coming to Full Impact Pro this weekend!

Ring of Honor President Cary Silken will be in attendance at FIP’s Melbourne event on Friday, December 19th.

“I am always excited to have the chance to come down to Florida and check out what’s going on in FIP in person,” said Silken. “FIP always gives the fans an exciting show and a great night of entertainment for the whole family. ROH and FIP have had a wonderful relationship over the past few years, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for FIP.”

Who wants the Tag Team Title shot in Crystal River?

The YRR will defend the tag team titles in Crystal River based off of results from the previous night’s event in Melbourne, and Sean Davis of Heartbreak Enterprises has emphatically told the FIP office that they intend to be in that match on December 20th.

“My Heartbreak Assassins are going to be the next FIP Tag Team Champions, no question about it. I almost feel bad for the British Lions on Friday night in Melbourne, because we were just simply going to beat them up before all this was announced, but if the FIP office needs proof of who is worthy of a title shot in Crystal River, then I guess we will just have to make an example of these two Limeys to do just that.”

Chicago, Illinois, December 17, 2008 - Beginning December 19th and airing every Friday for six consecutive weeks thereafter on Arlovski.com (www.arlovski.com), Arlovski 360: On the Road to Reckoning will use professional high definition documentary techniques to capture Arlovski, the noble warrior in an unflinching close-up as he prepares for Affliction: Day of Reckoning - the most important mixed martial arts bout of his life versus current WAMMA Heavyweight Champion Fedor Emelianenko at the Honda Center on January 24, 2009. The event will air live on ShowTime pay-per-view.

"MMA fanatics will drool over 360's unprecedented look at Arlovski's training regimen and casual fans will gain insight into the charitable soul underneath his Spartan exterior," says Arlovski 360 executive producer Lana Goldshteyn. She goes on to say, "The video series will highlight aspects of the fighter's life that have endeared

I want viewers and fans to understand what mixed martial arts fighters go through to prepare for a fight. I also want to be able to answer questions on my life that I usually don't discuss," says Arlovski.

The filming of the seven-episode series will culminate live on the ShowTime pay-per-view broadcast of Affliction's "The Day of Reckoning;" an event that symbolizes the growth of MMA as a sport as well as Arlovski's progression to the summit of his craft. Arlovski 360 will include in-depth interviews from Arlovski's entire training team, friends, as well as high profile commentary from legendary UFC/MMA personalities including Hall of Fame referee "Big" John McCarthy. McCarthy has refereed over 1000 matches including Arlovski's 2005 UFC Heavyweight Championship winning bout against Tim Sylvia.

A trailer for the show is currently available on both Arlovski.com and YouTube. Alan Wojcik Reviews OMEGA: Uncommon Passion DVD

Are you a fan of WWE superstars Matt & Jeff Hardy? That means you know they have been friends with Gregory "Hurricane" Helms, Mike Howe, Shannon Moore, Joey Matthews (formerly Mercury), Christian York, Cham Pain (Marty Gardner) & Jason Ahrndt for years. What’s that, did you ask who the heck are Mike Howe, Christian York, Cham Pain and Jason Ahrndt? That means you probably didn’t know Matt Hardy created and booked a Carolina’s based promotion called OMEGA. Surprised to read that fact? Then you need to get a copy of the very entertaining OMEGA: Uncommon Passion released by Highspots.com and Big Vision Home Entertainment hosted by OMEGA ring announcer Ted Hobgood.

Matt and Jeff Hardy have been wrestling since their teens like the other men listed above. In 1997 Matt & Jeff got tired of running their own trampoline based wrestling shows and the East Coast Wrestling Federation was born followed by the New Frontier Wrestling Alliance. Matt hooked up with promoter Thomas Simpson eventually creating OMEGA or Organization of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts which was a mix of American, Mexican and Japan. The Hardy’s wrestled as themselves but also characters like High Voltage & Will O’ the Wisp. They grabbed up the best workers along with their friends and began running shows at fairs and local venues. If you attended an event you saw a very young "King of Old School" Steve Corino and the men listed above who would go onto work for WWE, WCW and ECW. Each wrestler listed has a chance to tell their story of OMEGA and where it ended up taking them. The story goes from the birth to the death and the reunion show the fans of OMEGA asked for.

If you have seen the WWE’s Twist of Fate DVD on the Hardy’s career or the BVDVD Ultimate Insiders on the Hardy’s some of this is repeat stuff. But this DVD goes in depth on certain stories you only have read about online. Like the issues between Matt & Ahrndt who became Joey Abs of the Mean Street Posse, how Jeff and Shannon were wrestling before they were old enough to drive themselves to events, how the Hardy’s began working for the WWE plus the successes and failures met on the way to the top. RESULTS: Power Trip Wrestling - "Jingle Brawl," Sat 13th Dec 2008, Houghton Regis

Oh my...WHAT a loud night. Two title changes, a shock heel turn, and an invasion from another company. . . Only at Power Trip Wrestling will you find this kind of wild action and excitement...and this kind of insanity! Stay with us and read on, as we take you on the rollercoaster ride that was PTW's last show of 2008. . .

RESULTS AND RECAP

* PTW promoter Petey Staniforth came out to the ring, and pointed out that the show clashed with ITV television show 'The X Factor', and it's final. Calling out Scott Annette to the ring, and then PTW's Head of Media 'Camera Dude' David Toms; Petey decided that Simon Cowell was 'a cheap wannabe imitation' of himself, and that his group were going to sing the classic Bon Jovi song 'You Give Love A Bad Name.' To say it was out of tune is, to say the very least, probably a compliment. Petey dedicated the attempt at singing to his fiancee' Christina, pointing out it was her birthday very soon. Druss was sent to the back by Staniforth, for refusing to join in the sing-along, and walked away disgusted by the vocal antics of those concerned. In the eyes of many, the interruption after the first chorus, by 'Cowboy' Adam Hayes was a good thing, as he justifiably insulted the trio's singing. Petey of course, took offence to this, and set Annette on Hayes; who was saved by Kevin Carter, who proceed to recite his own version of the Christmas classic 'Jingle Bells', including lines of how 'Petey smells', and 'Scott Annette is gay.' Threats were exchanged, and an already heated main event now had the fire turned up even higher.

* (Winner received a PTW World Title shot later that night): Marcus Brash defeated Shabazz to receive the PTW World Title shot later on in the evening. A back and forth match up, saw Marcus Brash beat Shabazz, and go on to a PTW World Title shot against Mayhem later on in the evening. A frustrated Shabazz would then hit the referee after the match, but seemingly realised he shouldn't have reacted in this way; and it was clear the emotion of losing out on a rematch with PTW World Champion Mayhem.

* (Handicap Match): Druss w/Petey Staniforth defeated Jack Russell & 'Cowboy' Adam Hayes Druss was dominant during the match, and despite Russell and Hayes being adored by the crowd; this wasn't enough for the two men to defeat the monstrous Druss. The moment people were left talking about, was when Jack Russell chased Petey Staniforth around the ring, and Staniforth tripped over...and it was just like October 11th all over again. Russell stomped Staniforth's knee a couple of times, and his shoulder; and then did what dogs tend to do publically; and 'relieved' himself all over one of the things that mean the world to Petey...his Luton Town FC football shirt. Druss made Russell submit, and literally knocked Hayes out cold; taking some measure of revenge for a furious, limping, and bitterly angry Petey. This set the tone for what was clearly becoming not one of Petey's best nights at this point.

* ("When Monsters Collide"): Donny Bull defeated Ronin Ronin was accompanied to the ring by LPW talent, and they became a factor in the match with their interference. In the end, it wasn't enough to stop the largest man in UK wrestling right now, Donny Bull, from claiming a victory on the night.

* Robbie Sincaide & James Dahmer defeated Diavolo & Chris Midas Many had predicted this as a contender for match of the evening, and it lived up to its expectations as four of the hottest young wrestlers in the country showed just what they're about, and why all of their reputations are on the rise. With talent like this on board, Power Trip Wrestling's future in 2009 is clearly going to be very bright.

* (Intergender Match): Aphrodite defeated Mad Mike Aphrodite defied the odds in this match to defeat her opponent, Mad Mike, but this isn't really the full story here. After the match, Mike placed Aphrodite's neck in a steel chair, and went to the top rope....and shockingly, out came Petey Staniforth to scream for Mike to stop. Mike made it clear there was one thing he wanted, and that was a PTW contract, which he produced from his pocket for Staniforth to sign. Petey did on the condition that he left the ring, but Mike laughed and said that he would like to say he was a man of his word...but he wasn't, and carried on and stomped on the chair from the top rope. Petey shouted for PTW talent from the back to come out and help, and Mike was ran off from the ring. But Aphrodite was seriously hurt, and was not seen for the rest of the evening, and the news coming from the PTW Office right now is not too positive for her health and her future in the wrestling business.

* (3 Team Elimination Match): Sean Midnight & Paul McSherry defeated G & Del Rico, and Carnage & Reno A spirited match up with three teams who wanted to prove a point, saw LPW's Carnage & Reno eliminated first, and then G & Del Rico, as Sean Midnight & Paul McSherry took the win and were the prevailing tag team on the night.

* (PTW World Title) : TITLE CHANGE!! : Marcus Brash defeated Mayhem w/Dan Edge to become the NEW PTW WORLD CHAMPION! The new PTW World Champion is no less than 'Marvellous' Marcus Brash. In a match that saw Dan Edge do everything possible within and outside of the rulebook to attempt to keep the title on Mayhem, Marcus Brash went on to win his second match in the night and become PTW World Champion. Mayhem was furious, and was literally taking his anger out physically on Dan Edge on the way backstage; as the fans showed their respect to Brash for his achievement on the night, and surprisingly, Marcus Brash accepted this graciously. It appears that 2008 has seen a major shift in the balance in PTW, and that in 2009, Brash will be looking to prove that he is a worthy and a credible champion and playing by the rules.

* MAIN EVENT (PTW Cruiserweight Title) - Anything Goes (No Disqualification, No Countout): TITLE CHANGE!!: Scott Annette w/Petey Staniforth defeated Kevin Carter (c) w/Shabazz, to become the NEW PTW CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION! And in the main event, another title change, as in perhaps the biggest shock of the entire year; Shabazz turned on his friend Kevin Carter, attacked him, and cost him the PTW Cruiserweight Title. The odds were just too stacked against the courageous Carter, and in the end, not even the underdog hero could survive against a wrestler (Scott Annette), a manager (Petey Staniforth), a monster (Druss), and even a clearly biased and paid off referee. A laughing Petey Staniforth took the microphone, and gloated how he, Scott Annette, Shabazz, Druss; were pretty much in charge of PTW now, and no-one could do anything about it. At which point, the LPW element in the crowd took offence, and stormed the ring. Pointing out that this was payback, in their eyes, for the havoc that Staniforth and PTW talent had caused on two occasions on their shows in Birmingham in recent months; they then fought arena wide with PTW wrestlers who had come out to defend their home promotion. Petey then challenged LPW to a match at the next PTW show in Houghton Regis in 2009, Team PTW vs Team LPW; and the challenge was accepted as both sides exchanged threats.

On Friday December 12th fans came out for Pro Wrestling Riot's "Road to the Gold-Part Two" event. It was held in the New Lakes in Regency Park Civic Center, 8330 Civic Drive in Port Richey, FL.

In a pre-show match, former IPW Hardcore star Havok defeated Buck Wild after hitting him with his cowbell.

(1) In a Heavyweight tournament match, 911 Inc.'s Francisco Ciatso (w/ "Hardcore Giant" Ron Niemi & DCFC members Jon David & Kory Chavis) defeated Nooie Lee.

Never one to shy away from a microphone, Ron Niemi stepped forward to address the fans about 911’s Shawn Osborne’s victory last month. He also said he guarantees DCFC will win their tag titles soon enough. Lee wasted no time hitting the ring and Ciatso wasted no time in knocking Lee across the ring. With the rest of 911 Inc. watching on, Ciatso was arrogant as can be, hitting suplexes and slams. Anytime Lee looked like he was going to get control, Ciatso would use some leverage; actually cheating to get control, namely a crooked referee who slow counted every pin attempt Lee made. Ciatso made a tactical error by going up to the second rope and he missed a splash. But when Lee went to throw a punch, the referee grabbed his arm and Ciatso kicked him in the gut then hit the K5 to advance. Ciatso faces Chris Jones in 2nd round.

Niemi and friends tossed Lee out of the ring and demanded the Lifeguards get their asses to the ring to get their
beating.

(2) In Tag Team tournament match, 911 Inc.'s Dark City Fight Club (Jon Davis & Kory Chavis) defeated The Lifeguards (Wade Koverly & Daron Smythe).

Early on it looked like the DCFC should have been in the locker room instead of ringside as the Lifeguards controlled the action for several minutes with several tags. That was until Koverly took his focus off Davis to attack Chavis, when he turned around he was nearly clotheslined out of his swim shorts. This allowed the DCFC to slow the match down and dominate Koverly for several minutes, cutting the ring in half an infuriating Smythe who kept coming in to aid his partner. Davis got a bit too confident and when he thought he ducked a kick, Koverly decked him with an enziguri. This allowed Smythe to tag in and take over on the DCFC. Smythe had Davis pinned after a Blockbuster but Chavis saved him. The Lifeguards had a double team move but they hit it on Chavis and not Davis who was the legal man. The DCFD tossed Koverly to the floor and Davis hit a shining wizard but Koverly saved his partner. But in the end it was the deadly Project Mayhem that helped DCFC advance to face British Lions in 2nd round.

(3) In a Heavyweight tournament match, Chasyn "Not Cocky" Rance defeated CJ O'Doyle.

It was weird seeing Rance come to the ring without any support from the YRR or members of the Team Vision Dojo. Not like it mattered as he went right to work on O’Doyle with armbars and wristlocks which O’Doyle returned in kind. O’Doyle changed his attack with a dropkick that sent Rance to the floor complaining that O’Doyle wasn’t allowed to do that, actually headed towards the locker room before changing his mind. O’Doyle used his size to power Rance around the ring with side headlock takeovers as Rance tried to counter out. Rance got to his feet only to be hit with a shoulder block to the floor. Rance headed to the locker room again but this time it was O’Doyle who stopped him from exiting ringside. He dragged Rance back to the ring and hit a bodyblock for a two count before locking in an armbar. Rance got to his feet but O’Doyle hit several kneelifts which took the action to a corner. The referee called for a break and O’Doyle complied but Rance hit a cheap shot to the face and a neckbreaker which slowed O’Doyle down big time. Rance used several moves to keep O’Doyle on the canvas as the fans chanted on O’Doyle. Rance kept O’Doyle down with a front facelock but O’Doyle got to his feet and tossed Rance to a corner followed by several clotheslines and a fallaway slam for two. Rance countered out of a chokeslam and a power bomb, sliding off O’Doyle’s shoulders. He scored a pinfall with a handful of tights advancing to face Sideshow in 2nd round.

(4) In a Heavyweight tournament match, "Classic" Scott Davis defeated "Mr. 630" Jerrelle Clark.

Clark came out hot, hitting Davis with several high flying moves and a head scissor sent Davis to the floor. Clark went to follow with a springboard plancha but Davis tripped him up, sending Clark crashing into the ring apron. When the action came back to the ring, Davis went to the rulebreaking with illegal shots to the throat, only to have his knee taken out by Clark. Clark went to the mat with submission holds taking Davis’ knee apart. Anytime Davis got close to the ropes, Clark would wrench on the knee and drag Davis back to the center of the ring. Davis got to the ropes on an exchange and slid to the floor. Clark went to grab him but Davis tripped him up and slammed his left knee onto the apron. Davis took over with leg submission holds of his own, with some help from the ropes. But Davis went for a kneedrop on the ropes and jammed his knee on the mat when Clark moved. Davis fought back with a suplex and went up for an elbow which only met canvas. Clark quickly went for the cover but Davis kicked out. Clark went back to work on the left knee with a modified Dragon Screw before locking in a figure four. Davis screamed in pain but refused to tap out, instead reversing the hold causing Clark to grab the ropes to break the hold. Davis got to his feet first hitting Clark with a running elbow for two. Davis tossed Clark to the floor wanting a countout victory but Clark beat the referee’s count, going for a sunset flip but Davis blocked it and locked in the Texas Cloverleaf. Clark refused to submit and actually made it to the ropes. But his running knee to the corner met the buckle and Davis hit a knee clip and locking in another submission hold which made Clark submit. Davis wasn’t done as he went to the floor grabbing a chair. But before Davis did any damage, Jaison Moore hit the ring, ducking a chair shot that ended up hitting Davis thanks to his own momentum. Davis was dropkicked to the floor and Moore said he would finish off Davis on February 14th in the second round.

(5) In a Tag Team tournament match, The Heartbreak Express ("Superstar" Sean & "Fabulous" Phil Davis w/ "the Princess of Wrestling" Amy Vitale, Vic Slowhand, Raymond Snow & Lou the Fixer) defeated The Loggers (Lumberjack Manley & The Mighty Dagon).

Needless to say the Loggers were vastly outnumbered in this one despite bringing a cooler of beer and a chainsaw. The HBX jumped the Loggers at the bell but it backfired on them as they chopped down the HBX and getting control of the match. That was until Manley went to the ropes and Phil Davis dropped the top rope enough to send Manley over it. As Dagon argued with the referee, the Vitale led faction took turns beating on Manley. Phil Davis locked in the Von Erich Iron Claw sending Manley to the mat but not to defeat as Dagon got his partner motivated to reverse the hold, getting it on both members of the HBX. But Sean Davis hit a splash that nearly caved in Manley’s chest. The outside interference continued despite Dagon begging with the referee to turn around and witness it. Manley fought off a Sean Davis nerve hold and after a mid-ring collision, he tagged in an extremely well rested Dagon who hit everything in the ring and ringside with bodyshots. The Loggers even attacked Lou and Snow on the floor with bodyblocks. But the numbers game was too much even as Dagon hit Phil Davis with a full nelson slam. Vitale grabbed Dagon’s ankle but Dagon dragged her into the ring for a spanking. As the referee put Vitale out of the ring, the HBX took out Dagon to advance and face Bumz R' Us in Semi-Finals.

Shannon Rose came to the ring to host an interview with Sedrick Strong who had a heated argument with Sideshow at the conclusion of last month’s event. Mr. Rose addressed the recent past between Strong, Sideshow and his sister Danielle. Rose told Strong the person who hit him with the chair at the end of the match was not Sideshow, but 911 Inc.’s Rod Steel. When asked what did Strong think after seeing the footage, he said he was wrong and the fans were right about who hit him with the chair. Strong said he was a bigger person for admitting his mistake and apologized Sideshow. Rose asked Sideshow to come to ringside but instead out came CJ O’Doyle who was talking on his cell phone. Apparently O’Doyle was talking to Sideshow. O’Doyle said Sideshow had nothing to say to Strong. Strong said Sideshow would have something to say to his face on February 14th.

(6) In a Heavyweight tournament match, "the Marquee" Bruce Santee defeated "Messiah of the Backbreaker" Roderick Strong.

These two have faced each other for years in training session and high profile championship bouts. Early on Santee tried to mat wrestle with Strong only to see Strong counter out to a neutral corner. Strong went after Santee’s left wrist only to be countered to another stand off. Strong went to the floor to regroup after Santee took him down with another waistlock. Santee went back to the waistlock but Strong countered into a leg submission. The action ended again when the two men got too close to the ropes and Strong went to the floor again. Santee used his power to take Strong down with a shoulder tackle and followed with kicks to the chest. The chest chopping began and neither man fared better after it. Strong backed Santee to a corner but got reversed and leveled with a clothesline and a standing suplex for two. Santee went for another corner clothesline but Strong countered with a dropkick for two. Strong locked in a mat based waistlock but let the hold go when Santee refused to tap. Strong went for a fireman’s carry but Santee blocked it and sent Strong to the canvas, only to be dragged to the floor where Strong drove Santee’s back into the ring post followed by several chest chops. Strong kept the pressure on with more chop to the chest and back. Strong tossed Santee into the ring for a submission hold but Santee refused to quit. Santee went for a clothesline but Strong kicked him in the arm and got a two count. Santee and Strong kept a frantic pace going getting several near falls. Strong went for a lariat but got hit with one from Santee for two. Strong fought back hitting a superplex for two. Strong hit a fireman’s carry into a gutbuster followed by a running boot for two which irritated Strong. Strong’s Tiger Driver was countered into a pin that was countered several times. Strong thought he blocked it but he ended being hit with the Big Dump which sent Santee into the second round to face "Bad Seed" Shawn Osborne of 911 Inc.

Beginning on January 4, 2009, Georgia Wrestling History’s new project, the GWH Radio Network, will debut. The GWH Radio Network brings you a variety of radio shows almost every night of the week. MMA Sunday

GWH is teaming with the Canvas Chronicle’s Ric Gillespie to bring you a weekly recap of events in the world of mixed martial arts, the latest news, and previews of things to come, as well as occasional guests. MMA Sunday, hosted by Gillespie, will air each Sunday night at 9:00 PM ET beginning January 4.



Shot in the Dark

Jimmy Rave will be hosting Shot in the Dark, where he will bring listeners closer to the action, through his own experiences, as well as from insight of his guests. Shot in the Dark debuts on January 5 and will air on Mondays at 9:00 PM ET when Rave is not booked elsewhere.



Dan Masters Live

Whenever something garners an opinion, Dan Masters is always quick to make certain his is heard, and wherever there is something big going on, he seems to find his way to it. A blend of wrestling and entertainment news and information, Dan Masters Live will be broadcast each Tuesday at 9:00 PM ET starting on January 6.



Peach State Pandemonium

Hosted by Rich Tate and Les Thatcher, GWH’s anchor show – Peach State Pandemonium, which has been in production since its launch in March 2008 – will resume following a brief holiday break on January 7 at 9:00 PM ET. PSP has become known as a show that presents opinion-based commentary, interviews with stars both past and present, and a recurring segment known as the Wayback Machine, which covers topical discussion with pivotal figures from the past, and can be heard each Wednesday night.



The NoseBleed Section

On Thursday nights at 9:00 PM ET beginning January 15, the NoseBleed Section debuts with hosts by John ‘Stoney’ Cannon and Joe ‘Joco’ Cowart. The NoseBleed Section will be a tongue-in-cheek look at the world of pro wrestling much the same way the Soup looks at entertainment and the Colbert Report sees politics.

It is being reported that Steve Bradley, whose body was found dead in Manchester, NH, last week, had taken his parents car and disappeared. He was found in that same car. He was 32. Foul play was ruled out, and an autopsy has been done, but the cause of death will not be determined until toxicology tests are completed. He had been arrested for heroin possession in October, and was indicted on those charges last month. Bradley, a former developmental wrestler under contract to WWE, had sought and received help from WWE through their rehab assistance. He had relapsed after his program ended. After being released by WWE in 2002, Bradley had opened the Top Rope Wrestling Academy and a wrestling promotion called the Wrestling Federation of America that had recently closed. The location where he was discovered was parked across the street from the training facility.

Ultimate Fighting Championship results from the “Fight for the Troops” event held in Fort Bragg, NC, on December 10: in dark matches, it was Justin McCully over Eddie Sanchez, Dale Hartt over Corey Hill, Ben Saunders over Brandon Wolff, Steve Bruno over Johnny Rees, and Luigi Fioravanti over Brodie Farber; for the live broadcast on Spike TV, it was Jim Miller over Matt Wiman, Tim Credeur over Nate Loughran when it was stopped and it appeared Loughran had a broken rib, Steve Cantwell over Razak Al-Hassan when it was stopped and Al-Hassan’s arm could be messed up badly, Mike Swick over Jonathan Goulet, and and Josh Koscheck over Yoshiyuki Yoshida.

Chris Adams Documentary Being Released This Weekend

Gentleman's Choice is a documentary on the life and times of WCW star Gentleman Chris Adams by director Mickey Grant. Description: This is the story of the rise and fall of a real-life, super hero wrestler, "Gentleman" Chris Adams. Chris was born in England, where he studied professional judo. He came to the United States in the early 80s, where he became a professional wrestler. He fought with many of the top wrestling leagues, and achieved notable fame and popularity for a while. His lifestyle, however, overtook him, and he came spiraling down. He died in 2001, awaiting trial for the overdose-death of his girlfriend one year before. Chris' ex-wife, Brandi died a few months later from an overdose, leaving a young daughter behind with no parents.

Those who knew Chris remembered his charming, warm personality, a clever sense of humor, and a fabulous British accent. They also remembered his darker, violent side, which could come out at unpredictable moments. And not everyone was aware Chris had an addiction to alcohol and drugs, and liked to play with dangerous
combinations of the two.
