Special Rules will be in effect for the Women's Championship Battle Royal coming to The Funking Conservatory Sound Stage Saturday October 17th in Ocala, Florida.

Wrestlers can only be eliminated by throwing their opponents from the ring to the floor under the !BANG! TV sign with both feet hitting the floor. Wrestlers thrown from the ring on any other side to the floor will not be eliminated from competition and may return to the ring. Fighting outside the ring can be an automatic disqualifying move determined by the Guest Referee, !BANG! TV Light Heavyweight Champion, Johnny Romano.

Competing in this special Women's Championship Battle Royal will be current

2) Former WWE Wrestler, Body Builder, Tennis Star Melissa Coates,

3) Creator and Star of Studio Sar-Ah from the University of Arizona, Sar-Ah

4) and 5) The Wasilla Wrecking Crew from Wasilla Alaska and !BANG! TV Women's Tag Team Champions Charlotte Mahoy and Rachael Moore.

Let me say something to begin this column, I am not on anyone's payroll. I need to say from doing reviews on their products for a while, KayfabeCommentaries.com has some great products for sale and their newest installment of the YouShoot series is going to sell real fast. Sean Oliver's guest this time out is former ECW/SMW/XPW star New Jack and like the previous guests he holds nothing back.

If you're asking yourself, "I know what YouTube is but what is YouShoot" here is a crash course: the folks at kayfabe solicit viewers of their DVD's and their website to submit questions to the subject...and he/she has no choice but to answer them; no matter how dumb they are. Believe me when I say that because I have seen the DVD's with Sabu, Sandman, Kevin Sullivan, Jamie Dundee and Raven; there are some dumbass wrestling fans out there. Somehow they all have internet access and webcams. The topics covered in this shoot are: ECW, SMW, Missy Hyatt, Drugs, Hardcore, Controversy, Sex & Rats and finally Honky, Dundee & Sheik. New Jack is an interesting choice for this series since he is the total opposite of the in-ring character he has played since the 1990's. I have met him several times at FIP/Pro Wrestling Riot events and he is a very intelligent person. For some reason due to his admitted drug and alcohol abuse he's been labeled a dumb person. He takes the questions at face value and has fun when Sean brings out the YouShoot favorite "What's In the Bag" style game which is a word association to an item. A new game is added for New Jack called "The Ho Bag" where Sean shows a series of women's names on cards and asks New Jack who is a cool person and who is....well a ho. Like the previous YouShoot sessions NO ONE is safe from being called out. This time the list includes: Vince McMahon, Jeff Jarrett, Missy Hyatt, Jasmine St. Claire, Miss Texas, Nicole Bass, Taz, Vic Grimes and any ring rat who ever stayed at the Holiday Inn near the old ECW Arena.

Don't turn the show off when the credit roll because if you enjoyed the recent Jim Cornette Guest Booker DVD you will want to see the bonus footage. According to their site the next release is Timeline History of the WWE 1983 as told by the Magnificent Muraco. Undefeated Heavyweights Shane Del Rosario And Brandon Cash “Money” To Square Off; Luke Rockhold To Battle Jesse Taylor At STRIKEFORCE Challengers In Fresno, Calif., Friday, Nov. 6

NEW YORK (Oct. 13, 2009)—Undefeated heavyweight mixed martial arts (MMA) prospects Shane Del Rosario (8-0) and Brandon Cash “Money” (5-0) will square off in a STRIKEFORCE Challengers matchup at Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif., on Friday, Nov. 6. Rising middleweight (185 pounds) stars Luke Rockhold (5-1) and Jesse “J T Money” Taylor (13-4) will duke it out that night as well.

Both fights will be contested on the live SHOWTIME® televised portion of the fight card. In the main event, unbeaten lightweight (155-pound limit) sensation Billy Evangelista (9-0) will battle with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt and electrifying brawler Jorge Gurgel (13-5). The live SHOWTIME telecast, which will include as many as five bouts, will begin at 11 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the west coast).

Both Del Rosario and Cash are California boys coming from Irvine and Fresno, respectively. Both are also coming off solid and quick first-round knockouts in their last fights. On Sept. 26, Del Rosario knocked out Lloyd Marshbanks in just 34 seconds at the M-1 Challenge in Rostov, Russia, for his seventh first-round KO in eight fights. In February, Cash knocked out Steve Gavin after just 26 seconds in the first round.

“We’re both big guys that just like to come out swinging,” said Del Rosario, who was a high school basketball star. “It could be a quick ending for either guy on Nov. 6.”

The southpaw Del Rosario said he is feeling good physically after suffering a broken left thumb and torn ligaments a year ago in September. The injury kept him out of January’s Affliction “Day of Reckoning” event. “It was tough sitting on the sidelines and having to watch for eight months,” Del Rosario said. “But it’s only made me stronger and hungrier to come back.”

He said he didn’t mind the travel to Russia. “I actually like it,” he said. “It gets you more pumped up when you’re away from home and seeing new things.”

“I’m so stoked to be fighting on a STRIKEFORCE card on SHOWTIME,” said Cash. “I expect to see a guy across the cage who wants to fight. I’m a brawler and I want to finish this fight. He may have a little more experience than me but I’m a little hungrier.

Rockhold is a native of Santa Cruz, Calif., and a member of Team AKA, one of the country’s most fearsome fight squads. Among his teammates are STRIKEFORCE World Lightweight (155 pounds) Champion Josh “The Punk” Thomson and MMA superstars Josh Koscheck and Jon Fitch.

In his last effort, Rockhold made quick work of highly touted Cory “The One” Devela at a STRIKEFORCE Challengers event in Kent, Wash., in June. The victory over Devela was Rockhold’s fourth straight and his third by way of submission.

Taking up judo as an adolescent, he went on to excel in high school wrestling competition, Rockhold captured first place in the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League and eventually reaching the California State Championships. Toward the end of his high school career, though, Rockhold began to gravitate towards Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the combat art that utilizes choke holds and joint locks to finish opponents.

Just three years into his professional mixed martial arts career, Jesse Taylor has experienced a roller coaster ride while trying to beat back his inner demons and take advantage of the talent he was born with. He is attempting to notch his eighth consecutive win and continue the upswing that he set in motion after becoming one of the sport’s most infamous characters courtesy of reality television.

A former NCAA Division I wrestling star for Cal State Fullerton, Taylor ranked as high as number three in the Pac-10 conference before deciding to try his hand at MMA. A trip to with the star-studded, Oregon based fight squad Team Quest eventually led Taylor to a successful audition for Spike TV’s seventh season of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show.

Taylor’s success continued on the series as the California native won all three of his elimination bouts to secure a place in the season finale. Before his scheduled appearance in the live Spike TV championship, Taylor’s reckless behavior in Las Vegas one night before the event cost him his hard-earned spot and the opportunity to launch his career into the next stratosphere.

Since the incident, Taylor has claimed that he has matured and re-dedicated himself to becoming a fighting champion. Thus far, he has backed up his words, stopping Drew “The Master” Fickett in the first round (1:42) of action on October 2, 2008 and competing successfully nearly every month since January of this year.

On Aug. 15, Taylor suffered his first defeat after seven consecutive wins, losing to former International Fight League (IFL) champion, Jay Hieron at “STRIKEFORCE: Carano vs. Cyborg’’ at San Jose, California’s HP Pavilion.

Also on Nov. 6, former Fresno State wrestling star and Fresno native Casey “The Underdog” Olson (11-3) will return to action in the cage in a lightweight matchup against an opponent to be determined.

FEDOR "THE LAST EMPEROR" EMELIANENKO vs. BRETT "THE GRIM" ROGERS:

Simply referred to as "Fedor" by fans around the world, the 6-foot, 235-pound Russian is one of the most dominant fighters in the sport. A master of the Russian military combat system, Sambo, he boasts a record of 30 wins, one loss, no draws with 16 wins by submission, seven knockouts and seven decisions. His opponent, undefeated American, 28-year-old Brett Rogers (10-0) stands 6-feet, 5-inches tall, weighs 265 pounds and brings two of the heaviest hands in the sport to the cage. Both Fedor and Rogers’ last victories came against former heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski.

JAKE SHIELDS vs. JASON "MAYHEM" MILLER

In the night’s middleweight title fight (185 pounds), Jake Shields (23-4-1) squares off against Jason "Mayhem" Miller (22-6). Shields, widely considered one of the best fighters in the world, brings an impressive 12-fight win streak to the cage, six of his last seven coming by way of first round submission. Most recently, he defeated world-ranked middleweight "Ruthless" Robbie Lawler in his Strikeforce debut on June 6. His opponent, Miller, a fellow submission expert, is one of MMA’s most exciting fighters. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai specialist is the host of MTV’s reality series "Bully Beatdown" and trains with two of the sport’s most recognizable fighters, Randy "The Natural" Couture and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. He currently has 13 submission victories on his resume.

GEGARD "THE DREAMCATCHER" MOUSASI vs. RAMEAU THIERRY "THE AFRICAN ASSASSIN" SOKOUDJOU

Gegard Mousasi and Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou will face one another in the night’s light heavyweight (205 pounds) bout. Mousasi (26-2-1) of Leiden, Netherlands, recently scored his 13th consecutive victory on August 15, 2009 by winning his US debut and the Strikeforce light heavyweight title in a first round victory over defending champion Renato "Babalu" Sobral on SHOWTIME®. Sokoudjou (7-4), known to his fans as "The African Assassin," has scored six of his seven wins by knockouts and brings an impressive striking game to the cage.

FABRICIO "VAI CAVALO" WERDUM vs. ANTONIO "JUNIOR" SILVA

Fabricio “Vai Cavalo” Werdum will face Antonio “Junior” Silva in a matchup of two promising Brazilian heavyweights. Werdum is a two-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion and a submission expert while Silva has nine KOs in his 13 victories. Werdum, a former PRIDE and UFC standout, is coming off an impressive first round submission victory in his Strikeforce debut on Aug. 15 over veteran Mike Kyle. Silva, a fellow 6-foot-4 Brazilian, will be making his Strikeforce debut after compiling a remarkable 13-1 record since he turned pro in 2005.

Kansas City, Kansas - Last Friday, Titan Entertainment's Combat Sports Championships (www.CombatSC.com), presented by ChokeOutPoker.net, launched a successful maiden voyage at the historic Memorial Hall in Kansas City, KS. The live audience in attendance cheered non-stop for the action-packed nine bout card.

One of the special guests attending the event was a camera crew from HDNet's nationally televised weekly mixed martial arts show, Inside MMA. Wilk, fighting out of Manhattan, Kansas, took on local favorite Deryck Ripley in a match that ended in quick and sudden fashion. The fight ended so quick that Wilk's much-talked about entrance actually lasted longer than the fight itself.

The debut event for the Combat Sports Championships also featured rising bantamweight prospect Chad Vandenberg, 5-1. Vandenberg entered his fight vs. Shad Lankford as a heavy favorite but the overlooked Lankford turned in the performance of his life and stood toe-to-toe with the highly-touted young star.

Speaking in studio, Rogers had a chance to respond to the criticism levied by Dana White during an online video interview conducted by ULTMMA.

ULTMMA a Phoenix, AZ based MMA news & clothing company interviewed White while the UFC president was in town to promote the company's next event. The always outspoken White had some interesting comments in regards to Roger's upcoming fight with number one ranked heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko, including calling him "Buck" Rogers.

Rogers, with 10-0 record, is a decorated heavyweight from Minnesota. The big man will be on set to discuss his fight career, preparation for his next fight and gives his opinion on White's latest remarks.

Kansas City, Kansas - Titan Entertainment's Combat Sports Championships (www.CombatSC.com) made a triumphant debut on Friday night at the historic Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas.

The nine-bout card featured some of the top rising fight prospects in the Midwest in one of the most well-received cards to hit the area in recent years and included celebrity attendees such as current World Extreme Cagefighting fighters L.C. Davis and James Krause along with former NBA center Scot Pollard.

In the main event, WEC veteran Brendan Seguin improved to 18-16-1 with an upset decision victory over hometown hero Bobby Voelker of Kansas City, Kansas.

The loss dropped Voelker's record to a still-impressive 20-7 in a bout that was tightly contested. The large welterweights spent the vast majority of the bout locked in a clinch position in a war or attrition that Seguin, who hails from Detroit, was able to win thanks in large part a strong technical display of dirty boxing.

The night's co-main event featured another hometown favorite, blue chip prospect Eric Marriott. The Lee's Summit native faced the toughest test of his career in UFC veteran Ryan Roberts. In spite of a strong showing by Roberts, Marriott passed the test and improved to 15-1 with his unanimous decision victory.

In addition to the two highly-anticipated main events, the debut Combat Sports Championships also featured a major announcement by Titan Entertainment and CSC President Joe Kelly. Kelly's Titan Entertainment was responsible for bringing former PRIDE heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko to the Kansas City-area for appearances at Memorial Hall in both June and August. And now, Titan Entertainment in conjunction with the X-Fights promotion will be bringing a Strikeforce Challengers event to Memorial Hall on Nov. 20.

The Strikeforce Challengers event will be televised live on SHOWTIME and will be the second nationally televised MMA event Titan Entertainment has helped bring to the burgeoning Kansas City MMA scene on the heels of August's like "M-1 Breakthrough" telecast on HDNet.

"The MMA scene in Kansas has been overlooked for quite some time," stated Kelly. "However, we're bringing bigger and better events to the area and this region is quickly emerging into a hot bed for the sport. The undercard of the Combat Sports Championships' first-ever card also featured a host of up-and-coming stars with their sights on competing for major national promotions such as the UFC, Strikeforce, and the WEC.

Featherweight Ramiro "Junior" Hernandez, considered by many pundits to be one of Pat Miletich's top proteges, improved to 3-1 with a second round TKO of Brian Davidson of Lee's Summit, Missouri.

After losing round one, Hernandez was well on his way to losing round two against Davidson, an instructor at the Kansas City-area fight gym Team Grindhouse. Despite Hernandez's strong boxing background, Davidson's traditional martial arts background proved to be confounding in the early duration of the bout. However, the Miletich Fighting Systems product was able to improve to 3-1 after beginning to pressure Davidson towards the end of the second round. Hernandez completed the rally with a second round TKO courtesy of ground and pound.

Following a memorable entrance complete with a quartet of female valets, Joe Wilk of Manhattan, Kansas, improved to 9-1 with a guillotine choke just 40 seconds into his fight against Deryck Ripley of Roland Park, Missouri.

After the bout, the talented lightweight competitor addressed the crowd by saying he was willing to the top fighters in the Midwest. Sean Wilson, 19-9, who had been scheduled to fight Wilk last night but was forced to pull out due to a shoulder injury, immediately began to campaign for another chance to fight Wilk.

Tyler "The Evolution" Stinson of Winfield, Kansas, considered one of the area's top welterweights along with Voelker and Rudy Bears, improved to 15-5 with a triangle choke submission over Brandon Newsome of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Combat Sports Championships inaugural event was sponsored by ChokeOutPoker.net and also featured the triumphant return of Brett "The Natural Disaster" Stevens to active MMA competition following a two-year hiatus. Stevens, who won his respective weight class at the ADCC regionals in Las Vegas this past June, recorded a split decision victory over John Ott of Overland, Kansas.

The win was bitter sweet, as Stevens, fighting out of Hollywood, California, sustained fractures in both of his hands during the course of the bout. One year of Stevens' absence from competitive MMA was caused by a shattered hand in a severe auto auccident in September of last year. While improving to 11-4, Stevens could be sidelined again for an extended period of time as initial reports indicated he re-shattered his hand and will undergo surgery early next week.

Stevens was not the only out-of-towner to leave Kansas a winner. Adrenaline MMA veteran Tuan "Kid Thunder" Pham successfully re-booted his quest to become a charter member of the WEC's rumored flyweight division with an impressive display of jiu-jitsu during his unanimous decision victory over Nate Williams. With the win, Pham, a former WKA Amateur Muay Thai Champion, improved to 2-1. He will look to further state his case for the WEC when he returns to action in his native home of Philadelphia, PA on Nov. 20.

The night's opener featured a clash between amateur lightweights Justin Seffron of Omaha, Nebraska, and Todd Bell, of Topeka, Kansas. After being rocked by Bell during the early portion of the fight, Seffron quickly turned the tide and improved to 6-0 following a TKO victory at 1:07 of round 1.

Following its co-promoted Strikeforce Challengers event with the X-Fights on Nov. 20, the Combat Sports Championships is tentatively scheduled to return to Memorial Hall on Friday, January 22. 5.3 Million Viewers Tune In To See Kimbo Slice-Roy Nelson Fight On 'The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights' On Spike TV

NEW YORK, Oct. 1 -- Spike TV's "The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights" is the undisputed ratings champ on Wednesday nights. The most recent episode of the tenth season of "The Ultimate Fighter" drew 5.3 million viewers, peaking at a staggering 6.1 million viewers on Wednesday, September 30 (10:00pm-11:00pm ET/PT). Featuring a fight between contestants Kimbo Slice and Roy Nelson, the telecast ranks as the most-watched episode of an original series in the six-year history of the channel* and the most-watched program of any kind in Men 18-34 and Men 18-49.

"The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights" was clearly the top-rated program on television on Wednesday with men in all key demographics including Men 18-34, M18-49, M18-24, and M25-34. It also was the most watched program among Persons 18-34 with a 4.7 rating (2.7 million), illustrating co-viewing among young men and women.

The episode also drew more Men 18-34 than anything else on television this week thus far, except Monday Night Football on ESPN. Also of note, only seven series in all of television this fall season drew more men 18-34, despite "The Ultimate Fighter" being in its tenth season.

Overall, the record-breaking telecast drew a 6.9 in Men 18-34 (2 million), a 5.4 in M18-49 (3.1 million), a household rating of 3.7 and 5.3 million total viewers.

The 6.1 million viewership peak at 9:45pm for the Kimbo Slice-Roy Nelson fight trumps any UFC programming ever on Spike TV. The previous mark was 5.9 million viewers for Rampage Jackson-Dan Henderson fight at UFC 75 in September, 2007. Also, the repeat at 11:00pm drew an impressive 1.5 million viewers. Thus, the combined audience of both telecasts reached 6.8 million viewers.

"The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights" features former UFC light heavyweight champions "Suga" Rashad Evans and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as coaches and is the only installment in the show's history to include only the heavyweight weight class (206+ lbs). The cast includes a list of notable athletes with impressive and diverse pedigrees including four former NFL players, UFC veterans, a former IFL heavyweight champ and a highly-publicized former EliteXC fighter, Kimbo Slice, who gained prominence through his non-sanctioned bouts on YouTube.

WHAT: Tomorrow's "Inside MMA," will feature an exclusive interview with former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Rashad Evans

Speaking to "Inside MMA's" Ron Kruck from his home in Chicago, Evans added more fuel to his already hot dispute with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, saying, "He doesn't have the love of the sport he once did... [and] if he walked into my house right now, he'd be dead... stop crying Quinton."

Evans and Jackson were set to fight in November at the conclusion of the reality series "The Ultimate Fighter," where each acted as coaches this season. However, Jackson's blossoming acting career caused the fight to be postponed.

Also joining co-hosts Kenny Rice and Bas Rutten this week are promoters Roland Sarria, Chad Pizzino and Brent Medley. The panel will discuss the role of smaller promotions in MMA.
