Update On Verne Gagne Case

Although the nursing-home death of Helmut Gutmann has been (not surprisingly) ruled a homicide and the investigation proceeds, it still doesn't seem likely that Verne Gagne will ever be charged with the crime.

It should be noted that in the wake of Gutmann's death, Gagne has been implicated in a minimum of two other attacks on fellow nursing-home residents.

Friendship Village (where Gutmann and Gagne resided) staff decided to privately handle those incidents, rather than call police.

I'm not a legal expert, nor do I play one on TV, but it realistically seems they could possibly face their own form of legal or civil action.
